my daughter was accepted by true light.....but really want to st paul convent

my daughter has been put into wait list for year 2009/10 of st paul

any chance for her?

照道理St Paul's convent應該不是這個時候in人，也不會咁早出信話會有waiting list！除非您囡囡現正讀緊SPK，或有人事，否則....真可疑！

i kept sending application aroud few times a year, everytime they sent me a letter "no vacancy"....finally they gave me a chance....you will never know.

By the way, as the school said the chance for wait list also very very very minor...

everytime, i handed the
application personally to the school......the lady at the information desk (primary section) is very friendly. So they are not such mean as other members mentioned before.

so try try....you'll never know.
Anyway my kid is accepted by True Light and St Paul catholic (happy valley)....if the St paul convent don't take her, she also can also go to st paul catholic..........( st paul catholic is also not bad too, and no school fee

)

now I releax to wait for the result....

很想知道今年有否成功申請2009/10小一插班的家長可以分享？或認識有成功插小一的朋友請上來報到吧！

因為即使有聞說一月時有人獲得面試機會，但上來BK報到的都是waiting list，似乎沒有成功的例子呢！難道今年小班制之後，真的是更難入名校的小學？

Waiting list是否等於reject？因為聽到一些以前申請SPC的家長說，以往收到waiting list的小朋友，最後都是沒有再通知說收的呢！

Nice to see you here. How are you? My elder daughter is going to P4 and her sister will also be a P1 girl in this coming Sept. Time really flies, right?

Will you choose SPCS for your daughter for her secondary school? Your advice is always valueable!

I heard interview had arranged in January. Did your daughter attend the interview? I sent my girl's portfolio in Jan & June, but did not get any reply from them....I just want to know if their application process has already ended.
