I have received a call from my friend. She has received a letter from Education Department (ED). The letter has stated that it is a random check for the home address. She has given the evidence to prove her her home adress. Does any Mummy get this letter?

I wonder if ED has sent the letter now to check the home address?

Same case as last year. Quite a number of parents rec'd letter requesting for additional address proof.

因為地址係首輪o個時已經報埋, 如果你冇通知佢轉地址, 佢就用第一次報o既地址o黎同你分區.

Is her address proof provided last time not sufficient enough, that's why EDB asked her to prove again?
I think starting random check at this moment is too early and wasting resourses.

No, it's not because of insufficient information provided last time. In the letter, it stated that it's a random check for addtional information.

I think last year too many people used 假地址, 所以今年早啲抽查和查多啲囉. 都係好事嚟嘅..

No, it's just a random check.

I also got the same idea. If the applicant success in the first stage, then it is not necessary to proof the address.

其實我真係好懷疑, 無理由係呢個時間收到信, 因為第一輪無限制, 就算last year o的人都係第一輪之後先收到要進一步證明通知

跟據上年經驗, 收信的都是第一輪唔得的. 如果第一輪得, 因不限網, 無需要花資源查地址. ED已經知道第一輪邊個得, 邊個唔得好正常.

我的律師朋友說，任何時間在申請表上填假地址和提交假地址證明已經是犯法。一經定罪，監都有得坐。千其唔好因小失大。

I have no idea but you can check via La Salle intranet. They have results posted there.

Do you move to the current address few month ago? I just wonder the case that ED check are those currently moved to the "hot" net. Or, even lived there many years, ED still to pick them out for random check. It seems that ED start the checking earlier than we expected.

I could only say I am TOO lucky for being selected to provide additional proof (actually I already sent the requested document to ED by registered post - just want to make sure they would receive my document for sure!). I wish I have the luck for the forthcoming lucky draw too

BTW, my son is studying at KV too.

You are in net 41. I guess you would choose LS/ MCS for 1st round lucky draw, right?

don't worry too much about the address today.....
if you are living in the place correctly.....that's OK.
if you are not living in the place which in the application form.... don't worry too..... they allow you to change the address back and no penalty...
But they will have your change address record, they will check your address in your 2nd draw application form.
