I have no experience. But I think it all depends on the content of the letter. It would be perfect if you can get Cardinal Zen to give the headmaster / superviser a personal call.

I really doubt if any catholic schools would refuse an applicant recommended by him. The question is: how may one who doesn't know him personally get a letter from him?
