My son is 6 months old. Want him to join some playgroups near Shatin. Is it good? Any comments?

Hi,

My son is now almost 14 months and he started to attend Good Time when he was 12 months old. I don't think the playgroup in Good Time is good because there is no interaction between the babys and teacher. First, the teacher turns on the music and we sing a song and play the toys, then wash hands and colour the paper. ..at last we play the driving car..(a lot of maids with babys only and we don't talk with each other) It seems to me that there is no difference between stay at home and go to school..

Heard of HKPS (RA) only take 2 or above year-old kids for nursery class. If your son is only 6 month-old now, not eligible for next year's admission bo.

In the shopping mall of Ascot (close to HKPS), there is a learning centre called "Lemon Tree". It has playgroup for toddlers. You may call 2634-8386 for details.

I just put him in waiting list and hopefully some stduents leave in the middle of the school year and I can join in.

Is Lemon Tree good? Have you tried this before?

I heard "Lemon Tree" from BK moms. I tried Lemon Tree before for only one time when my boy was 15 months old. It's ok. But they don't have class for my boy's age in Saturday at that time, so I finally didn't join coz I have to work in weekdays.

You may call them to ask details and ask them for one trial. Just paid $30 registration fee(one time fee) and one trial fee. So you may know it's suitable for your kid or not.
