SMC小學有冇精英班, 小一冇, 咁高D班有冇呢?小一之後點分班?

Learnt from parents' day that the school will start grouping students with "relatively better" academic standard into the same class from primary four onwards. The school re-emphasize they are not trying to advocate the "elite class" concept, all they want is to better align teaching resources and to allocate appropriate staffing among students of different standard. More important, such move will help to upkeep / improve the standard of their primary students which is fundamental if they need to go for "through train".
