I know the school has two stream: Local Vs International

Local stream : Cantonese is the main teaching language and with English as well as PTH every day

International stream : English and PTH are the two languages used during the lessons

Do any mothers know which one is better? Please give some advices. Thanks!

Well, My girl's in the main stream, chinese and half day; here is her weekly schedule:

two half days in English, (Black-hair English Speaker)
two half days in Cantonese
one half day in PTH
Plus one session of Native-english speaker for storytime
one session of Montessori

And in the morning gather, there are one day in English and one day in PTH, just songs and dance.

Hard to say which one is better, depend what you want for primary school.  But one mom asks a simple question, "Do you want your child to know Chinese?"

Well! You get a detailed schedule.  I don't know my son school schedule.  When I talk to his class teacher, she cannot answer in details and smoothly.

My boy was in Woodland Int'l pre-nursery last year. As I want to have a balance between two medium, I shifted to Rosaryhill joining international class in the morning and local class in the afternoon.  This combination works well for him. He's confident in Eng and actully this is what he prefers. By joining the afternoon local session, his chinese is picking up. Without the worries on his Eng, I could spend the weekend joining some other interest course instead ...
