於音樂會取得招收團員單張被它吸引，有人能給些意見嗎？

My son joined Opera HK Children Chorus for almost half a year now. He's having fun with the singing and dance lessons. He already performed twice with the choir and will have a concert at Cultural Centre in Dec. He likes meeting opera singers and Warren Mok most. Drawback is course fee higher than other choirs.

My son is 13. I guess it isn't a strict rule to join after 7. I think currently, 1 or 2 members from the junior class is 6 yrs old. How old is your child?

剛剛交了報名表，並打了電話到香港歌劇院約面試時間(星期三下午)，希望一切順利! Happy2004, 可否提供面試tips?

Hi bobomama! As far as I remember, my boy only prepared 1 song for the audition. My son met Mr. Mok a few times, he visited the class and children were also taken to opera meet-the-artists events and final dress rehearsals. Their coming performance is on 30 Dec. He already performed 3 times since joining.

Hi KaKaYa. Right now, I think only 2 classes. They emphasis on quality so class size is small. It's not just choir singing and there are dance lessons every month. Maybe you can ring Ms. Fung in the office to discuss whether 6 yr old is ok or not.

You better ask OHK about performance opportunity. If I remember correctly, my son received result with a week after audition. Good luck!

My son told me that they've been singing Broadway musicals. And the choir has sung opera in French. They've been taught an italian song this afternoon. Language medium should be billingual. Interview was 1 on 1. My son prepared his own song and he told me there were some simple singing exercises.

By the way, my son isn't in any of these performances because he has only joined the choir since summer.

Lessons mostly in Cultural Centre and sometimes in Sheung Wan Civic Centre. According to the teachers, next year would be Cultural Centre only. My son says lesson is billingual.

小女剛入團不久,她現4:30pm班,其實我不太清楚這團好不好,但我感覺由老師.學生.家長都是期望很高!你知不道它是牟利/不牟利呢???我覺學費不是太貴(小班),但貴過HKCC雙倍(大班)......出路如何及其他小朋友FROM WHERE CHORAL　或學校呢？？？
你小朋友是否中學嗎？？？５：３０ＰＭ班？？？

只參加了一星期，但我也很想知道出路如何呢...

學費我也覺得合理。3名老師對10個團員。相對香兒一班50人也只得2位老師，所以半價也理所當然。不過無論價錢如何，最重要是小朋友開心，又學到野。
