Hi achow.

I studied in UK previously and one of my sons & my fd's daughter are studying there at the moment. Personally I don't think racism is that serious in England. Just be nice and that will be fine.

Students are recommended to study up till P6 in Hong Kong, then enter Year 7 in the UK. This way students learn more Chinese (thus forgets less Chinese when they grow up) and also exposed to English at a younger age (adapts to UK education system earlier)

Another good entry year would be Year 9, as some of the excellent schools only provide Year 9 and above.

Regardless Year 7 or 9, you better apply 1 - 2 years in advance, as entry is competitive even in local UK.
