請問大家對這兩所小學有何意見 ?

Hi eileenycm,

請問st paul boys 2nd interview 是否單對單面見校長, 家長坐門口, 過程是否只大約5分鐘, 有否英文題? 有否看圖說故事呢? 不好意思這麼多問題, 因為這校是我們首選, 多謝多謝!

Both are good schools.
Personally, I would choose St Paul Boys.

英華 is a relatively new school (primary section that is), & it still needs time to prove itself.
But it is still a good choice, especially if you live in Kowloon side.

小朋友單獨見校長約5-10分鐘, 整個過程家長係可以好清楚睇到. 全程用廣東話, 我囝囝不需要講故事, 校長會比些圖片佢睇, 然後按小朋友嘅答案再問他問題, 個個小朋友都唔同. 為什麼呢間學校係你首選? 是否可以說說這學校?

it depends on your son's character, if he can work hard, under pressure, of course St. Paul's la, if not, Ying Wah lor.

我想知道st. paul's 嘅功課, 考試方面情況, 本人知道此學校是中文小學, 想知道在這學校就讀嘅小朋友的英文程度. 請問是否知道學生會在什麼地方上體育課, 因為上次去面試時, 只係見到小食部同禮堂旁邊的空地.我自己比較喜歡此間學校, 唯校舍實在太細.

Thank you very much! Because we live in Hong Kong side and I want my son study in Christian School. The size of the school was small and therefore the school will rent the outsider playgroup on Sat morning for some sport activities. As the school is a traditional long history school and most of the primary students (85%-90%) can directly to college study. The school will move in 2011, I think the new school campus must be larger than now. Hope your son can get a best seat.

曾聽過 BK moms 分享話 St. Paul's Boys 會在2-3 年內搬往 Pokfulam Road 新校舍,但我在website 內找不到資料,是中学部搬往新校舍, 還是中,小學一齊搬呢?

應該是小學部搬, 因為在地圖上(中原地圖)看, 那塊地是擬定為小學用途!

The removal is mentioned by Dr Kennard, the secondary principal, in "News from St. Paul's". Here is the extract:

".... The Foundation has given high priority
in its fund-raising activities to the
relocation of the Primary School from
its current location in Hill Road to a
green site on the corner of Pokfulam
and Victoria Roads. The new Primary
School is due to open in 2011. .... "

Another extract addressed by Dr Kennard in the Monthly Assembly:

"... Some senior teachers have been involved in planning for the relocation of the St. Paul’s College Primary School from its current location in Hills Road to a new site on the corner of Pokfulam Road and Victoria Road. Preparations for this move will take the next three years."
