interview果日, 佢地話會打電話通知同可以上網check, 不過, 以佢咁出list法.. 今個月就一定難捱啦...

如果由22nd Oct- 04Nov, 22Nov - 20th Dec, 計埋星期六, 都只係有37個工作天, 如一日只in12個幸運兒

12 x 37 日 = 444 人...

我諗係第一round都要out好多人啦... 慘~~~

2nd inteview 係11 月4日後會停兩星期， 11月26日校長帶完學生回來才繼續，一直到x'mas才完成。
如果真的每天才出一日的list，這樣等結果，真的會變長頸鹿啊~ (我是剛過去的星期六才in.呢~)

今日仲未見23/10既interview list，唔通只係in一日就暫停？

如果真係連續2nd in，而家都未post上網，真係好趕wor!

當然我唔排除有份2nd interview既人一早已收到通知，但係要每日自己上網足一個月，學校呢個安排真係好折磨家長！

當年學校是以電話作先行部隊，上網祇是for record purpose, just in case parents forget the details。

不過，今年Year 8，11月中到歐洲遊學，校長隨團，所以會暫停兩個禮拜，今年真的是漫漫長路喇！

Around 200 applicants will be interviewed in just 4 days (Oct 22-25) and 2nd interview will be ended at Dec. 19. I think almost everyone will have 2nd interview chance.

Do anyone know if the 2nd interview will be with the principal or will there be other staff doing the interview also? How come the time is so short, 3 candidates for the same time slot and there are 2 sets of candidates. So there will be 6 families doing interviews at the same time or there are someone also other than the principal doing the interviews?

舊年2nd in家長同小朋友都要去!
家長見主任/老師, 主要check返d文件/cert., 然後問1條簡單case問題, 睇o下家長點處理件事, 間接睇家長o既管教方法&對學校o既信念!
小朋友3/4個一組一齊入房見校長, 好似係睇圖問d問題!
語言就要視乎見o既校長, 主任/老師!

Hi LLPP,
Last year, the number of my son was 001X and the interview date was the first day. However, the 2nd interview date was very late. The date of 2nd interview offered did not according to the number or date of 1st interview. Don't be upset. Keep on checking the web site and switch on your mobile phone. They will inform the parents by phone.
In the second interview, the principal Yip asked my son to read some words such as "sunny", "continue" and describe picture in English.

So, do you remember how many time of 2nd-interview list which will show on CKY website. My daughter number 02XX also 1st-in on first day. But no show on the first listed 2nd interview weekly schedule. According to your case, it seems still have chance or do I need to assume it's failed? My freind's has successful on last year whom also listed on the first 2nd interview list. So she has no idea how many 2nd-in time schedule will show on website.

As I remembered there were about 1,200 applications last year and about 400-450 kids were having 2nd interview. During the interview period, interview were hold on several days (not whole period). In my case, my son was arrangement in second lot announed 2nd interview. I hope this information useful.

Refer to your info, (about 400-450 kids were having 2nd interview). So, this week have already announced 192 candidates. So, I figure that interview on 18/Oct applicants should be announce more candidates to 240.
11/Oct's no show on list applicants may game over already! I can sleep now!

Do you remember we can chose 11/10 and 18/10 for the 1st interview? If you chosen 18/10 and the one behind you took 11/10, then the one behind you may probably be in the 1st lot for 2nd interview with the application number after you. That's why some people with nubmer 12XX appeared in the first 4 days. I think they are still short listing the 18/10 group of applicants for 2nd interview.

I applied on the second last day and there wasn't any time slot to choose from, 11 Oct was full already.

Anyway, I noticed that the numbers posted for 2nd interview are from 1 to around 600 and then starts again from around 1200 until around 1250. My wild guess is that the school has planned for around 600 applicants for each interview day, and it turned out that there are more than 1200 applicants, so they needed to squeeze in some more interviews to 11 Oct so as to finish all interviews on the two scheduled days. Therefore, some applicants with 12xx were interviewed on 11 Oct. My wild guess only - correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, it was said that the 2nd interviews will be conducted during a long period of time, and for the time being, only interviews during 22-25 Oct have been posted. So probably, more applicants from the 11 Oct will have 2nd interviews. Again, my wild guess only.

I asked the teacher today. She said there are less than half/about half of the candidates will go into the 2nd interview.

As the principal is going on a trip for 2 weeks. Interview will be suspended then.

Result to be announced in early Dec.

3/4 children going into the principal's room together.

Just simple chatting with parents. In my opinion, even one parent attending is good enough, esp. during week days.

Pls don't guess over the number. This will make you even more nervous. On the first day of the interview, there were already some "big" number candidates attended. No special meaning.

How did you know that the result will be announced by early Dec? According to the notice posted in the school, the 2nd interview will last for until Chirstmas.

Please check, the number format should be Y1-XXXX.

The application number was the one hand-written down on the receipt. If not sure/uncomfortable, call the school and ask. I asked the same questions early this week. The lady on the phone was willing to answer.

In our case,

I handed in the app. form on the 1st/2nd day (I forgot) of the application.

The 1st interview was on the 11/10 morning session.

And we had the 2nd interview last week and I got the call just 2 days before the interview.  As I forgot to copy the application no. from the blue interview card, I asked the lady who called me if the number hand written on the receipt was the application no and then she looked it up from her list to confirm with me.

As some people questioned here if all applicants have the 2nd interview, I asked the teacher who"interviewed" us.  She told me they could not interview all and there should be no more than half of the total number.  When finished "chatting" , she told us final result will be announced in early Dec./by mid Dec.  Then I asked why it took so long and she told me the stuff I wrote before.

The 2nd in. was conducted with the principal and in English.

Please relax and do not calculate the days as it seems the no. of interviewees is different everyday depending on the availability of the principal.  But it's a real long "journey" I must say.

照觀察, 家長所填問卷以中則中(中國籍主任), 用英則英(外籍主任), 只是核對資料(出世紙及成績表), 隨便閒話家常,不用準備; 至於小朋友, 由於沒有刻意去問, 所以暫時唔知用甚麼語言.

The two principals will be responsible for the interview, if it is conducted by Principal Lau, Cantonese is okay. If it is conducted by Principal Ip, children should speak in English.

Actually, I used English in the questionaire but I was interviewed by the 中國籍主任. I think there is no rules in who do the interview. At the same time, the kid will be interviewed by 2 principals, one is Cantonese-speaking (Principal Lau) and one is English speaking (forgot his last name)

I have just called CKY and ask if they will release some more for 2nd in this week later. They replied that no more for this week as the Principal will not available in the rest of this week. Need to wait for another week la.

I filled in the parent questionaire in Chinese as I really believe that it doesn't count much, as least the language used really doesn't matter. Most CKY parents are cantonese speaking. I chatted with the chinese speaking teacher. She asked me opinion about the school bus and this was the only question.

For me, they are just collecting parents opinion or you can guess they try to see if you are a difficult/picky one. As no sane parent will behave like a difficult one in an interview so I think this part really doesn't count. And I do feel they do not care who answers or who doesn't talk. So for me this is only a chatting part.

My child told me that in the both interviews, only English was used.

我地尋日2nd interview (Oct 18 1st in), 小朋友3個3個甘入去見校長, "據"呀囡講 (佢唔多想講面試既野, 唔敢講100%正確), 係一次過見兩個校長, 只講少少中文, 差不多全部講英文, 不過好開心, 女校長好funny, 因為佢話自己唔係好聰明 (我覺得校長好高招, 等d 學生主動講多d 野比佢知)

家長方面, 真係好causal 咁對下資料, 傾下計, 問你一條湊仔處境問題, 老師好有熱誠, 比好多回應, 值得一讚

Interviewed today. It was a little bit hot.

May I remind parents who will attend the 2nd interview during school hours especially in the afternoon, better to bring a portable, battery operated fan (parents and their kids have to sit in the small area just outside the conference room, no air conditioning, no fan, but with a lot of sunshine). If after school hours, they let you wait inside one of the classroom.

Went to 2nd interview today.

Overrun. Had to wait about 45 minutes!! Room is air-conditioned.

3 kids went in together. Son said mainly in Cantonese except when Principal Ip asked one simple question. The questions were mainly around daily life things.

Parents met with teacher in the conference room.

Whole process (excluding waiting time) took about 20 minutes to half hour.
