My son told me all boys can entitle the sticker as well.

But, I saw not evey boys had the sticker while finish the 1st interview and left from the hall?!?

maybe some boys tear it off before they leave la.

Everyone get the sticker after the 1st interview but the sticker may not the same colour (seems divided by blue & yellow). Someone told me if the kids get the yellow sticker that mean they will be offered the 2nd interview. So, I want to confirm their kids get the yellow sticker or blue sticker during the 1st interview.

Yes I got the letter for 2nd interview - also on Oct 21 morning. So only the child will do the interview? No need for parents? Who will interview the child - the principal or teacher? What format is the interview - panel or 1 to 1?

From the slip given by the school when we submitted the form, the Principal will interview the boys individually and the interview will last for 5 mins.

My son got the 2nd interview letter. I want to know the academic level of this school when compared with TSL, APS, Kowloon Tong. Whether the students are prepared to study overseas, since I heard that the academic result is not good as Ramondi College, is it right?

Maybe the school send out the reject letter one day later. So, all receive the letter today are reject letter and all receive the letter yesterday is 2nd intervie letter.

I've got the one is a yellow sheet and it mentioned that my son has failed in the 1st round interview but still have chance to get in 2nd interview. We can submit the reply slip in June 2009 to see it still have place or not.

But to me, it's no use. How about others. pls share

yes,i applied for about 5 school,but i have rejected by HKUGA,so i feel so sad & begin to worry about that!how about you ,did your kid accept by any school?

No la, my son also rejected by Ying Wah, HKUGA and St Paul Boy, so worry for him.

But my son doesn't has any pressure and not care everything.

no use means we can't have the bargin power to those who has the 2nd interview in next week. St Paul Boys choose 300 to get in 2nd interview but only choose 150 from them. The rest of them have the higher chance than us.

You may refer to it's homepage. It is mentioned that about 300 candidates will be invited for 2nd interview in Oct or Nov.

Last year, they had at least 2 sets of waiting lists.
When students don't turn up to the registration, they will call up other students from the 1st waiting list to fill the post.
Then in June / July, when more students drop out, they will then call up yet more students from the 2nd waiting list to fill up the post.
I guess those who failed in the 2nd interview this year will be put on the 1st waiting list, & those who received that yellow sheet will be put on the 2nd waiting list.
So if you are very keen on this school, keep reminding them that you are keen & are still waiting.
Don't despair as many students do drop out in the end.
Even though the 1st waiting list was already long (>100), several boys from the 2nd waiting list did manage to get in last year.
Someone even got in 1 week after school already started!

If you look at the back of the slip they attached to your application fee official receipt, it's clearly stated that 300 candidates will be shortlised to the second round (not only the web site). The school is surprisingly efficient. Just one day after I've received the second interview letter, I browsed here and found that the school has already issued letters with different status. If there's any postal delay in my case, I must be scared to death. All parents playing this game must possess very high EQ and patience. Chances are always there if you love the school. Don't give up but don't think too much. That may affect your mood so as your kid.

Dear Parents,
Don't give up trying. My boy received the 2nd batch waiting list letter last year. He is born in November and not welcomed by the traditional famous schools. I applied 8 schools for him last year and was rejected by Ying Wah, SPCC & DBS but got into waiting list for GT, SPC boys, HKUGA, PLK CKY, Logos Academy. No school accepted him and I felt very anxious and disappointed at that time. I sent the reply slip in June this year, together with a letter expressing my strong desire to let my son studying in the school and a few certificates that he had achieved after the interview. And he was finally accepted by the school. Out of my surprise, he has also been selected to join the school choir, represented the school to participate in the recital competition. So, don't give up and keep on trying.
By the way, I would also like to congratulate the kids that have entered the 2nd interview. The performance ( besides academic performance) of my son's classmates are really impressive. For instance, the entry requirement of the swimming gala for P1 is to swim 50m within 55 seconds. Only 1 out of 30 students in the class cannot play a musical instrument. My son said one of the classmates plays the piano as good as those he heard from the CDs. I am not sure about the performance of their secondary school but I am sure the school has selected a group of high quality students in the primary section.

I rec'd advice letter for 2nd interview letter on 10/16 when my older son interviewed on 10/6. Our 2nd interview will be 10/29. My son got "gold metal" sticker(yellow) on 1st interview so we guessed at once he will get into 2nd interview.

I also applied the schools you mentioned for my son and got rejected too. I am quite confident that one of the interviews my son performed well but still got rejected. I wonder if the main reason of rejection is his birthday held in September (some of his classmates can get into second round because they born in earlier months). Is that the same case to you?
