Yes, I have applied but don't know what the school will ask the children. The school lady told me that the interview will last about half an hour.

Any one know the allocation ratio between the girls and boys in 2008-2009 ?

Do u know if they need to interview the parents ? As I know in the past, they did. If so, we need to do some preparations.

When are you submitted the application form? I am sent it by courier and the courier reply me he just drop the envolpe on the box.

My no. is 5xx.
I submitted the form on the last day.
However, my boy will have interview on 25/10 at 2 pm bor.
Luckily, it doesn't clash with DBSPD's interview.

Me too. I just called the school, the staff said they need to interview the parents. If so, we need to do some preparations.

No worry, I think no difference for you to hand in the profile on the interview day. However, suggest you to make your child's profile as simple as possible, say, not more than 5 pages.

As I don't think the interviewer will spend much time to view in details.

Ask 高主教 to change the date for you.
Same thing happened to my kid last year.
They were very nice about it.
We were interviewed at a later date & they still offered us a place.
Don't think 九龍塘學校 is so understanding in this respect.

The interview seems not in sequence of our application no.?! Anyway, I guess there are at least 900+ candidates this year?!
According to comments in other forums, the school will ask parents' views on discipline our kids.

Are you Christian or you leave it blank under 'Religion'? We are a Christian family and tried some Catholics schools before in which the result was negative.
Good thing is daddy was an 'old boy' but down side is my son is a small boy (born in Sep).

Called RC this morning, the school lady is really nice. She told me that there are 800 to 900 applicants this year. Group interview for the children.

Last year, only 20 girls admitted by the school.

hope it is useful.

Wow! What a big number! Is it only group interview for the kids? That means the school don't need to interview the parents. Since I called them 3 days ago, they said it's better for both dad & mum to be there as they need to be interviewed too.

We are 聖公會.
This was the only Catholic school we applied to so I guess I can't complain about discrimination!

Already confirmed with the school, we cannot go for lucky draw once we accept their offer although it's a private school.

You may also call the school to clarify, the lady is very polite and answered me in detail.

I don't think region is very important. Most schools look at the kid's performance. Few years ago, they offered my elder son a place in the frist round. We are neither catholic nor christain.

Thank you. Actually, I think this is quite fair as this will avoid the situation that one child to hold several school places.
