今日interview完了, 即刻通知收了, 並要在三天內register, 及比第一期學費....我想知會唔會其實比得校長interview既, 其實都會收? 另外, 亦想知是否大家都會立即去register呢? (因其實仲有好幾間學校未interview...)

Hi CSW,
Is the Principal give you offer directly during interview, or you have to wait after interview & then some staff offer you?
And do you mind to share with us what questions the Principal ask parents & kid?

Actually, the only question that Principal Yau asked was why would us choose this school....and then, he spend the rest of the time to tell us the good results of his students and the good background parents he has in his school....
Then, when we leave the room, the staff asked us to stay for a while, and then take us out to tell us that we got the offer...

Thanks a lot.
Frankly speaking, I think most parents will pay for 留位 because still waiting for other schools' results. This may increase their other income.

If the school gives me the offer, I don't mind to pay for the whole year tuition fee in advance!

Even though I have applied several schools for my boy, Logos is my first choice.

But I still have not received any phone call from the school for the 2nd interview!

Me too. I didn't recieve call yet; and so worry about it. I applied four school for my son, but one was regret already. Logos is also my first choice too, I hope they will call us soon.

BTW, do you know how many applicants to logos this year finally?

Will you register? I haven't done so, because I have checked that I need to give up the seats from government or subsidised schools, even the first round, if I register now. We are still thinking, but tomorrow is the deadline!!

For our case, besides telling us how good the students are, he also told us about how good his twin sons and his younger sister are

前幾日遇到一個隣居，便請教她有關升小一事宜（因為知道她是過來人）。當我說報了投考真道之時，她的第一個反應是：「咁的學校，你都去考o既？」對於她對此校的批評，我不在此評述了。

請問已經2nd interview的家長，是否即時話說收你小朋友，並通知要於兩日後交學費，是否要留一個月學費（即HK$2,500？）因為之前聽有現任家長說當年是要留一個月學費作留位費。為什麼真道可以收咁多留位費的錢？聽說播道都只是收留位費HK$400。

Yes, we were interviewed on Monday. After we met the principal, we were asked to wait outside. And then a staff went in the room and came out to tell us that our sons were accepted, and that we need to register latest by tomorrow. Need to pay $2200.

I believe that the order of the 2nd interview is according to the children's scores in the 1st interview. So Principal Yau probably just wanted to meet with us and confirm that we agree with the school's beliefs.

Yes, I have two boys, but we had the interview in the morning, the third on this list. The ones after you were two boys? So many twins! In my case, actually only my elder son got the second interview, but the principal has kindly agreed to accept my younger son as well.

Just attend the 2nd interview and got an offer.

Congratulations! No need to bring anything. Principal Yau will ask the child a few general questions and then will talk with the parents. Make sure that your child don't disturb you when you're talking with the Principal. You may bring one or two books for he/she to read during the interview.

If this is your preferred school, you can bring along your child's birth certificate and a blank cheque. If your child is accepted right away (don't know whether this is the case for everyone who got the 2nd interview), you can register immediately and don't need to go back again.

I think Principal Yau is very lenient and understanding on children's behaviour. He doesn't expect children to sit there, be quiet and do nothing. My elder son did not behave very well and my two sons pushed each other and fought for the only small chair in the room, and still there were accepted. Good luck.

My child got accepted

. I felt so relief now. Finally will had a good night sleep! I agree Principle Yau is really nice. The whole interview were smooth and no tricky question. If your kids love going to school should be able to answer the question.
