兩輪面試後，終於啱啱收到信，叫我地15th OCT之前去交留位費喇有冇其他家長收到呀？

打錯左，應該係15號之前註冊呀，唔係交留位費，留位費封信冇提喎，唔知幾多呢..

恭喜曬呀, 我都是住沙田區嫁,而家女女讀緊K2,想知道浸小難唔難入嫁? 因為我都是住91綱的, 而家煩緊下年女女撰什麼學校好呀,可唔可以比D意見呀??

我都收到了，會去註册。school free is $3,500, it's not cheap. I like this school, but the administration is messy and I find that parent is confused about the homework (no clear instruction) from the forum. I am still not to be very confident about this school. Can the student learn well in school?How about you? Anyone can share more about this school.

salut,
just want to let you know that many WKF parents don't come to BK because we have our own intranet with parents forum. That is why you only see G1 parents in BK because they are new to the school and they don't know the arrangements of homework, OLE etc well. No G2 or above go to BK to discuss at all.
If you kid's English is good, then the books of IS, CL and phonics are OK, definitely more interesting. They don't learn English in traditional way and you cannot compare the standard with local schools. They use phonics to teach and no grammar book, copy books etc. are used. However, you only have a piece of blank paper for composition in P.1(no word limit), learn to write poem in p.1 already. So grammar and spelling not matter, it's the content of the composition that counts which is totally different from local schools.

Pls note nothing will be cheap for kids in HK. Pls note they have OLE, each OLE will cost you HK$500/month already. If you comparing HKBUAS to ICS (next to HKBUAS), you will be more understand HKBUAS is cheap. If you comapring it with government school, yes, it is expensive.

Pls note you will save HK$35,000/year if your child go to public school. But you have to understand most of the HKBUAS's parent are willing to support their childs.

I do notice my younger son learning a lot from school. My child got a lot of support from school, which I beleive public school won't given to him.

To be frank, tuition fee is not much. The most expensive thing are outside school, like piano/violin/Taikando/ Tennis/Swimming etc.
How to lead them to be a self learning child is important.

I have 2 sons, they were cam from HKBUK. My elder son is studing in Pui Ching, my younger son is in HKBUAS.

Hi Salut;

No problem, pls note as far as I know plenty of students were rejected by HKBUAS. Expecially for High school, most of the rejected students were came from the best primary school in Shatin.

Pls note school is only the tools. We still have to spend a lot of time to growth with them to study with them.

Most of the parents of HKBUAS student are well educated. You will see their student can be differenciate from other student easily. But they are confident and talkative. They are eager to learn from difference aspect. The primary parenting is time consuming. Hope you can enjoy it.
