My number is 2XX. The school will choose 99 children from around 600 application, I guess.

what are the normal stuff? coz there is only this entrance examination card and no other letter in St. stephen's mail.

今日interview,感覺好好,佢地安排左5,6年級學生帶家長去參觀學校(小朋友去左interview),佢地D學生好有禮貌,普通話同英文好到不得了,小朋友interview都係問一D日常家庭問題,好簡單

Yes, we also had the school tour led by the students today. My husband likes this school a lot. Needless to say, the environment is wonderful. The students are friendly and they are eagar to show us the school environment.
In the waiting room, there were some textbooks and exercises on the table. We also saw some composition posting on the board too.
However, it is not easy to get in to be one of the 99 students although the school location is remote. I dont' think my kid can make it because I know her answer is not impressive.
The school will mail the acceptance result in Jan next year. It is still a long way to go... As my husband like this school a lot so we may think about 叩門 later.
Do you know if the school has a high drop out rate in the past years? Because most of the schools have the result release earlier than theirs.

My friend's family and my family arrived 45 min earlier. Surprised, we invited to register instantly. After drawing in the waiting room, they went to see DVD - Lion King. and have interviewed by the teachers . After 25 mins, children went out of the classroom, they searched for the animals in the schools. They said teachers told them the ways to find the fish, ........etc.
All of us likes this school very much.

1round過都好,唔駛小朋友同家長走黎走去,但就真係好簡單的interview過程,好似去開放日咁,我幾鍾意,D老師同校長都好nice,間間都係咁形式interview就好

我大女讀小一, 今年到細女考, 其實你地入第一間課室已計分, 由外籍老師睇吓小朋友的英文對答. 小朋友上課室會有一位老師和他們一起看卡通, 旁邊有六位老師分別拿着每位小朋友的資料之後各別問. 卡通片嗰部份主要考小朋友記憶力和分析能力. 最後小朋友拿着名牌分別見老師. 考禮貌和表達能力. 11月中巳會出信. 1月會出waiting list的信. 這間學校對英文要求好高, 如會一些普通話就最好.但小朋友會好鐘意返學. 是一間好開心的學校.祝各位好運.

We had the interview yesterday. I also agree it's a beautiful school, in a very nice refreshing location with great environment.
However, I disagree that the moment you walk into the GROUP setting, the teachers are marking... no way. All the teacher did was took my daughter to the desk, grouped in 6 people..... and just waiting for the individual interview. I was there for almost 40 minutes, the teacher who was Dr. level, was beginning to be impatient herself. She walked outside, so many times to check WHY there wasn't anyone bringing the next group... and throughout the WHOLE time, they NEVER took out any paper or marked down ANYTHING about each child. There is no way they remembered anything about each child, there were so many children in and out.... it was nice session for my daughter to colour and warm up to the setting.
The real marks I believe is when the kids go upstairs for the individual interview. Yes, it was a video, and some group raising hand q and a sessions, and individual one to one questions.

How come my son told me that there is no video? His interview time is 9:45 in Saturday morning. And the teachers in the waiting room said that they will not give marks in the waiting room!

have video, my daughter told me that they watch the video (about the lion have green hair...... ). my daughter's interview time is also 9:45 Saturday, may be i know who are you because i remember just have two boys in this group, one is crying, are you the other one?

Thanks for Annmelody's useful information.
If they release the results so early in Nov as mentioned by Annmelody, can we still wait for the results of the first round Government allocation?
My son also watched a video and then asked him some questions (in Canontese). After that, he gave back his name card to the teachers. Yes, my son did mention that there're so many teachers inside the room. However, I still doubted if the NET teachers would mark during the waiting room. My son just concentrated on drawing and one of the teachers did ask his name when he settled down. He didn't have questions in PTH.
Anyway, I won't expect much but it's really good that we only need to undergo one interview. The campus is so nice and the students there are so keen to take us for the school tour. A very relaxing interview for both the kid and parents.
Wish all our kids can be acccepted!

你比$3000留位費後仍然可以等派位,不過到時你唔讀無得拎返$3000,如果讀就會當9月份學費的一部分,佢地派比你的小冊子後面有寫

Thanks so much for your prompt rely!!! I asked such question cos we were told by our friends that St.Stephen won't allow government allocation if we got an offer. At this stage, we won't think too much. Just focus on the coming interviews. BTW,
my son also watched the video of "lion with green hair". We interviewed on Sunday. :)

我個女應該同你個仔一group,因為9:45得一group,因為我地早到左9:00到(問過老師,每15分鐘一group,大約6個一group),所以响等候室等到差不多930上去睇書, lee到好多都話有video睇喎,因為我個女之前都無提,但我見到D媽咪話有於是今朝問個女,佢又話有 比佢激死,唔緊要啦,都完左,希望各位小朋友都成功啦

Don't worry. Those celebrities may not accept the seats for their children, because they live far away. Of course, they have too too many choice. I know the 1st round won't accept my son, just dream of the waiting list.
My friend got the calls from SSCPS on July, and ask her to register.

I believe JustinJustin is correct. 梁錦松and 陶傑 also applied for SSPC. They applied more for backups only. We better not to expect too much and take it easy. For some applicants, if they have more choices on hand, they may reconsider the location of St.Stephen.

In fact, its really difficult to know how the school can select the right students in 20-25 minutes, of which some time were even used for watching video and there were 6 at a time. What are the criteria? How many qn the school can actually ask and assess each kid in such a shotrt time, and there is no 2nd interview. The photos posted in the website makes me feel uncomfortable as thereare quite a no. of the celebrities. I don't think the school will reject their kids eventhough they may not be outstanding.

U are right. To me, DGS is not as good as SSCPS. I've known some graduates, and their politeness is really "terrific". What a "popular" school!

我個女話除左中英重有普通話,不過老師同佢講普通話時佢同老師講sorry佢唔識普通話,跟住老師就用返中同英
