SPK = St Paul's Kindergarten and SPN = St Paul's Nursery.

I vote for St Paul's Convent!!!

therefore, in this forum there are only few ppl to discuss about convent.....

聖心上午係私校,
下午係津貼~

其實都唔係差,我係津校舊生,
以前都讀得好開心既~
囡囡而家讀緊SPK~~
因為當初係諗想小朋友番全日制好D~
(我自己番下午班..成日都好夜訓,又好晏先起身)
唔想囡囡同自己一樣,O徒時間~
所以之前幫佢報SPK...(自己好鍾意佢條格仔裙)

St. Paul's Convent 其實每年P.1 都有位, 但就好小, 我上月也親自交 profile到學校, 之後遇到朋友(她的小朋友是今年報名入學, 不是幼稚園直升上去), 她說每年6月, 學校才知道有多少位, 到時才會通知小朋友家長約見, 不用這麽早報名, 之後我真係收到學校的信, 要6月再寄, 咁又晒咗我份 profile啦。不過都好, 佢咁做其他家長可以侍明年6月有需要才決定報名, 可免去做 profile, 送profile, interview同更環保, 希望阿女到時已考到好學校, 不用報名。

哎, 以過來人經驗, 話你知, 唔識人既話, 基本上係唔會有機會interview架
我女申請小一果年, 我都有交profile去st paul convent, 由九月開始交, 前前後後都有3,4次, 每次都係standard回覆話無位, 到後來上bk8, 至知原來12月左右已經in人.........當然唔係我呢d無啦無lung既人啦
再後來同一個家長傾計, 佢細女讀spk, 就日ai夜ai終於令大女有一個interview機會(小一), in完都係唔收.......
至於我, 從來都無收到call叫我去interview
唔係想潑你冷水, 不過唔想你空期待一場姐

In terms of quantity of homework, the order (from less to more) is St.Paul Convent's < Sacred heart (PM) < Sacred heart (AM).

St.Paul Convent is a full day school.
Sacred Heart (am) is a half day school.
For Sacred Heart (pm), half day school from P1-P4; full day school from P5-6.

Both schools are good in terms of character education.

My opinion is: In case your girl is achievement oriented, go for Sacred Heart.

真的嗎？咁佢做セ要我明年6月再寫信呢？但我朋友的小朋友真的到今年暑假才 interview, 仲係細女, (可能佢有關係, 不過唔講我聽), 而我識小朋友曾經也有interview, 但就唔成功。

其實呢度都有好幾個媽咪講過, st paul convent p1係勁難入的! 佢叫你6月寫都係一件好事既.........起碼環保d
當然如果真係叻女, 唔識人都可以入丫(我識個女仔, 無關係靠自己插班入協恩), 一試無妨既

The reason why St Paul Convent has so few P1 places is because they give priorities to their 3 associated kindergartens - SPN, SPK & St Paul Catholic Day Nursery (Tai Po).
They will interview all the students from these 3 kindergartens first & usually all the places are taken up by these students. If any of these students forfeit their places, then outsiders may be considered. That's probably why they don't accept profiles until June - only then will they know how many places they can open up to outsiders.
