When you submitted the form ? I submitted on the first day and I am leaving HK now but there is still no letter.

That makes me very nervous. Even the chance is low, when you submitted the form, you need to attend the interview ma.

Talked to my daughter, explaining she just perfroms politely will be fine even mother is not with her.

Hope the interview time is after next week la.

If you are not the group with relation, I think your interview should be after 1/10, provided that the frist day interview of the relation group is 25/9. Take it easy. Don't worry.

We submitted 2 days after the info session. Don't worry, every applicant will get interviewed.

no 13: 1 la, last year is 5X out of 1500 is 30:1 la.

But why look down on your kid, cheer up. My wife and I take it as an opportuntiy to let our kid to experience.

even failed but we are happy and proud la.

13:1 is assuming that the 150 seats will be distributed to all applicants (including related & non-related).

30% will be allocated to non-related, therefore 45 seats only to over 1000 applicants.

I think A stands for either "Applicable"
or "Applied".

Don't worry! I have asked the staff that it is only a 亂碼 mistake.
Actually, it should be filled in a “tick”, but it shows “A” in the application form finally.
The staff says that it is better to “tick” the item.

I used "A" and with "~" on top of the form. When I submitted the form, I also asked the staff to re-confirm if it is correct to put "A" with "~" on the form. The staff said yes.

Anyway, don't worry too much la. The form has been submitted. And the chance is s....oooooo slim. I don't think my child will be accepted. Just participate and try this out.

其實我希望小朋友入SPCC讀嘅最主要嘅原因就係佢地有一套辦法教得D學生好有禮貌.

今日仲未有信. 聽說今天去面試的小朋友好似都係有關係和同一宗教.

功課程度不算淺，尤其中文。
保姆車資料學校在八月會寄出。
路線遍佈港九新界
校車內，我個人略嫌較嘈，但安排尚算完善。

順其自然平常心吧！最大難度是太多人考但學位有限；150個位之中得3成給無關係人士，即45個位有成千人爭。其實現時都多了很多好學校，SPCC固然係好，但明年起6000學費加上地點遠，也是考慮因素。當然家境好的這便不是問題了。

路過, 有些少個人心得, 想同大家分享!
趁住仲有時間, 大家不如多d睇熟本school brochure, 入面好多關於學校特色及理念既information, 好值得深思同參考, 但記住不要"齋背", 要融會貫通, 咁就容易d在second interview中發揮! 臨時臨急先讀, interview時可能會難於暢所欲言!
大家請記著, 這是一所傳統的 Christian school, 就盡量由老公主導發言吧, 因他是一家之主, 亞媽唔好咁dominant, 只做補充的角色, 你信我吧,做女強人唔係呢個時候!
要預備以下答案:Why don't you choose international school for your kid? Why SPCC?
What is your expectation for your kid? How will you assist your kid in learning the 3 languages?
快d督促一家之主準備好吧!!

仲有，第二次面試時，如果校長問得你愈少問題係愈好，即係佢都心中有數，所以大家去2 nd in時，如校長只問你一兩句，跟住就問番你有乜問題關於學校想問的，咁可以話係恭喜你，你獲選機會好高。

仲有一條係住得遠的人必問題：你住咁遠點番學呀？

終於返到公司... 我諗我個女都係冇乜希望... 頭先佢表現活躍得滯... 之後我問佢點解唔記得我哋叫過佢乖乖哋定定哋, 佢話玩得太開心忘記咗

Anyway, interview方面, 大致上都係同littlewoman所講一様, 四位小朋友一組, 先玩遊戲(阿女話matching game), 然後有講故事問問題, 跟住再問日常生活問題... 我個女話佢自己講得太多, 校長叫停

唉... 同平時一樣, 唔停口... 算啦... 都預咗唔夠人爭...

小朋友interview時,老師會幫家長逐一對資料正本. 各位家長記住帶齊文件呀!:loveliness:

skateboardp: I think if your kid had been inside for at least 45 minutes, there is still a chance. Don't give up too early. Miracles do happen.

I was trying to co-relate the month of birth and the date of interview but it seems they are not directly related. I hope I can estimate the date of interview for my kid next year.

What should we better say if "校長跟住就問番你有乜問題關於學校想問的?" I hv recalled my experience which is failed by the end( way back to 6 years ago)because I did not response well to her.
Is this question always be asked on each couple at the 2nd round ?

Why if the male answers the quest is better than female as most of the mothers are much more pay attention and understand more on their kids's needs.

Sorry, I don't know any other interview date for the related group. I think the arrangement of the interview is not related to whether you are in the related or non-related group.

Yes. Ours is at 9:30am. May be we will see each other then? I hope my daughter will behave better this time... Sigh...

not much hope really... just wanted to give it a try and let our God guide us....

Why daddy should be better than mummy?!
Bear in mind that the school is a very traditional Christian School. This school strongly upholds the traditional moral values and virtues. If u understand more of the biblical doctrines on family, daddy should be the "head" of a family. And if even a busy daddy can show his care and great concern towards his kid, not just the mummy as everyone expected, I am sure you can really impress the school!

As for "校長跟住就問番你有乜問題關於學校想問的?" , I did't have much to say coz I was so hungry at that time and was nearly fainted. (I waited for more than 2.5 hrs from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm without taking any breakfast and could not find anything to eat/buy nearby along Macdonnell Road!!) Sounds funny and incredible, but I found the toughest part of the whole interview process was WAIT...WAIT...and then WAIT!! I really appreciated my kid who had showed his greatest patience ever during the long long waiting hours. Both of us, esp my kid who had nearly lied down on the chair in the principal's room and kept asking us to leave, wanted to rush out to have lunch--so we did not ask questions!! Believe it or not, the principal at the end of the interview touched the head of my kid and said to him "It's really something of you to have waited patiently for so long a time (in Chinese)!" Yes, patience is one of the keys to success, I believe.
