各位好
因daddy經常在外地工幹, 如interview,是否需要見家長 (父及母) ? 如只得媽咪去, 學校會吾會因此而扣分的呢 ?

My friend went to interview withouth daddy and finally failed in the interview. But her son is very excellent in English. So don't know it is the reason or not.

they would ask questions on how you "educate" or "take care" of your kids. So I believe they emphasize parent-teacher cooperation very much. Parent's active participation in interview is surely very important.

totally agree. Much care about how to educate the kids by asking the parents instead of making a test on kids.

如果咁講, 如果係單親或且只係媽咪一個去, 咁未一定fail ??????

I AGREE, THAT'S NOT FAIR IF THEY ONLY CONSIDER THOSE KIDS WITH TWO PARENT...HOW ABOUT SINGLE PARENT??? THEIR SON NOT GOOD ENOUGH???

:) 從來無人可以代校方說明收生標準, 家長們只是假設. 我相信成功被取錄當中不一定全是父母一起到考. 我亦相信有rejected case父母都有一起到考.

如果全部父母一起到考便成功那要多少班才足夠呢? 不要想太如果真係喜歡此校就和小朋友一起努力, result好重要, 但過程更重要.

I was a Raimondian many years ago.  Priorities are give to the following applicants:

1. brother or sister is current student

2. parent was Raimondian

For the rest, they put more emphasis on the quality of parents.  Whether the parents are willing to spend time on their kids.  They stress about family bonding.

I have met a parent whose kid is now in P2.  Only the daddy and the kid attended the interview.
