Are you going to the parent's day this Friday? I and my husband will go. My son told me that Miss YUEN has put up their lanterns in the classroom and he suggested me to take a look when I come to the school this Friday

Let's see whether we can meet each other tonight and have a chat
For the speech festival, teacher Virginia has called me and told me that my son was selected to join in the English solo. I am pleased that my son could have the chance to train up his confidence in front of the crowd. Teacher Virginia told me that training would be provided by the teachers but I am not told the details yet.
I also let my son to join in the Putonghua speech festival. Just give him another chance !! My hubby said he would train him but not sure whether this is true
Will you all go to the sports day on 14/10/08 p.m. ? I note that there are some fun activiities and our kids would allow to take part in the price award ceremony. It is new to my son (he does not have a sports day in KG) and I want to go with him if I can take leave.

有少許感覺:
MS YUEN好FRESH, 感覺她有熱誠的.
MS VIRGINIA好開朗, 但她的口音另我有少許失望.
MS ONG好專業, 她也是另我最有信心的一位.

請問你囝困係咪姓吳?阿女好似話佢同另外一個男同學都俾老師搵去參加英文朗誦。至於中文朗誦，阿女係好想參加，但我同佢講真係要用時間去練習，結果佢都打退堂鼓，因為剛升小一佢都要適應好多嘢，真係驚佢應付不來，我對阿女第一個學期嘅目標係自立，都好艱巨架嘞!想佢自動自覺去彈琴、做功課、沖涼、執書包...不過如果你都想專人訓練坊間亦有訓練中心，可以去睇睇得唔得!

Sorry for not replying to you earlier since very busy in these few days. Yes, my son's surname is NG and my son has mentioned to me before that there is a girl in IP who is selected by teacher Virginia to join in the speech festival. Is that your girl? Anyhow, my son is not as clever as yours who can remember the names of his classmates!!
Do you know whether they had started the training yet?

My girl is another student selected by Teacher Virginia to participate the English recitation competition. She sometimes will mention about your boy, they sit together and in the same group. Boy and girl is different, the focus of the things they concern is not the same. She loves talk about the school life, what happen to classmates and teacher. Your boy is clever and helpful, he can help my girl to take the medicine . Teacher Virginia told me that she will use the school time to give them training ,but don't know when to start. Anyway, she also said that we need do some follow up for them, so I believe that she will let me know after she starts the training.

I'v checked with school what the "top 10 students" is. It means how many times to click there to see the elearning or something which is nothing special.

However my son can tell me much about your girl. Maybe as you said, boys and girls are different.
Remember that the notice says that school on 30/9/2008 is just half day and children can put on traditional Chinese wear or red causal wear apart from the school uniform. I will let my son to put red causal wear on the day.

Thanks for reminding wearing Chinese coustume on 30/9. Just thinking how can get the new clothes as now is not in the New year .
My girl's last name is FONG. She said she always sit by your son, and he is good at maths. He can do the classwork very well, my girl said he is very smart.

Do you know whether there is any fine for overdue of books from the library? If so, do you know the cost? 
My son said that the library is closed on 30/9/08 but the books that he had borrowed also due on the date. My son is worried that there wiill be fine. 
(I don't give him any money to school cause I think there is no need for him at such a small age.

嗰個係國慶賀卡設計比賽，佢得到季軍，仲有一個同班同學，但睇佢好似唔知仲有邊個，所以究竟喺班際定級際就不得而知，但係佢真係好懵，佢以為係燈籠攞獎。

Thank you. Then my overdue fine may be a lot! My son forgot to bring the books (he borrowed four including 1 one for his little brother) on 2/10/2008 and then 3/10/2008 - 7/10/2008 are holidays! What a lesson to learn!

Oh you girl is great. My son has mentioned to me that there are 2 classmates in 1P who get the prize. The other one surname is NG but my son don't know the full name of he/she.
Recently I think that our children are so free. No my day book, no school, long holiday... How do you usually arrange your time for your child?

我聽另一位家長講，佢話有寫字同數學做，但好似係9月29日的功課了，不過阿女已經將所有書放哂喺學校，乜都做唔到，一於等佢回校自行面對老師接受後果。佢真係好free，唯有同佢睇多啲書，或者下禮拜放假返大陸玩吓。大家有咩打算呢?
阿女已經派咗張英文詩，不過老師冇指示要點做喎!又冇理由用自己方法教，又咁短都唔駛點背都記得，所以讀過一次就冇理佢嘞!你收唔收到呀?

Dear all mums of 1P
Today, I go to the Sports Day with my son and see a lot of the students in the class. All of them are so smart and active!! 
Teacher Sharaon led the class to the track and students of 1P, 1M, 1B and 1C play games there together. The students are divided into 4 groups and compete amongst them. The winner can get a star from the teacher. They stick the stars they won to a notice board and they are so keen on the games!! Guess which class finally wins? It is 1B!! Our children is the 3rd after 1M. Although they "lose", I see our children have a good day there.

I don't know that you have posted me the message until now. I have visited the website for serveral times. But each time I can only return to an old message posted up long ago!! I have asked my son whether Teacher Virginia has given him any training for the Speech Festival. However, he said no and really don't know when the training will start.
When is the birthday of your daughter? If it is in August or September, do find a time to go to their classroom. My son takes part in the Olympic Maths and that's why I went to see his classroom last Saturday. I would say that the classroom of 1P is the most beautiful for the walls outside their classroom are posted with the lovely photos of our children!! Do enjoy!!

Dear Parents of 1P,
Please note that the coming Wed (22/10) will be the school assembly and please remind your child to wear formal school uniform on that day.
Separately, could you please share whether you can find out from e-class the schedule and progress of different subjects? Last Saturday, I happened to have a chat with some Mums of 1C and they said that teachers of 1C (Chinese, English and Maths) would update in e-class what's being taught in the class. The teachers would also upload some assignments for the children to do. I am not sure whether the same has been done by the teachers of 1P. I am afraid that I have missed out all these information (my computer skills is very low) !!!

你哋講緊個件事，我個少爺都有返來講呀。那個同學好似姓邱的，在break時候，那幾個三年班生本在洗手間如厠，邱同學不知何故関了廁所燈，所以.....給人打了！他哭著回課室，老師也應該知道此事。

Hello Doris,
After reading your mail, I have asked my son whether such a thing has happened and he said yes. The description of my son on the matter is similar to that as quoted by nini930, that a boy of IP went to the toilet during recess time and he turned off the lights inside the toliet. As a result, he was hit by some boys in Grade 3. My son said that all of the classmates in IP know about the incident. Even Miss YUEN knew the matter and she has asked the boy to go to the teacher room....

Dear all,
I don't know why the school assembly is cancelled. I am just happy about that because my son is very clumsy and I am afraid that he can't mange to change to the P.E. uniform quickly and he might catch a cold.
Please read the e-class for the Chinese lesson. Miss YUEN has posted up an announcement advising that this coming Fri will be the party. Students only need to attend half day school on the day and there is no need to put on school uniform. Each of the student in 1P should bring a present around of $20 for exchange amongst the students. Moreover, each of the student should prepare a snack (for around 4-5 persons).
For me, I am going to make jelly candies for the kids. Hope they like it.

最近我才留意下eclass, 原來英文科的virginia都好勤力, 機乎每日都有一些描述他們當日上堂時的情況, 有時還有相片呢!
感覺這位老師都好熱誠, 值得欣賞!

阿女話今日有3個同學(包括阿女)探熱後因體溫超標要返屋企，不過阿女就冇乜事，因為返到屋企都係36點幾，只係曾經嘟過3次都37點幾，安全起見亦要「遣返」，而有說有疑似個案都嘟多幾次，下午仲有衛生署打電話嚟跟進，看來學校感到來勢洶洶要嚴陣以待。

培僑小學爆發流感停課一周
(星島)2月18日 星期三 09:20
再有兩間小學爆發流感，其中沙田培僑書院小學部在昨晚臨時決定停課一個星期。
培僑書院校長羅慶琮表示，小學部昨日有47名學生告假，校方向衛生防護中心了解，證實其中22人感染流感，所以昨日傍晚決定停課，避再有學生受到感染。他又指，昨晚已經透過手機短訊及致電通知家長，亦在網站公布停課消息。而學校今日照常開放，給予有需要學生在圖書館自修，老師會透過內聯網向學生發放家課，校內就繼續用一比四十九分量的漂白水消毒。
成為第四間因為流感停課的沙田培僑書院小學部，有22名學童出現流感徵狀，其中1名7歲女童入院沙田威爾斯親王醫院，她的樣本對甲型流感呈陽性反應。女童現時已康復出院，其餘各人目前情況穩定。

請問大家有冇做youtube個英文quiz，真係又長又難呀!同埋太多嘢上網，小朋友睇到眼都花，請問大家嘅小朋友在家的情況如何?阿女做funNfriends都有興趣，其餘都係不太願做。
