嘉諾撤聖心 or 聖士提反女子中學附屬小學?
(兩間邊間多功課D)?

如嘉諾撤聖心(私立定津貼好)?

我的女女是在03年7月出生的, 咁如出年就讀小一的話, 係咪已經有15分?

5分或 15分以上呢兩間會收嗎??

i'm not sure about st. stephen's girls', but i heard that for shcc if you have 20 marks there is a good chance to enter. and, i know that kids of shcc don't differ too much whether they're am or pm session.

The competition for St. Stephen's is keen as it is whole day school.
If you have backup private schools and like whole day school better, can try St. Stephen's.

而政府方面, 我想報St. Stephen Girls, 因為係基督教同埋全日~

你會點選擇??

如"局勢"無變, 15分都有機會抽, 20分應該一定入了
至於st stephen, 如果抽唔到又無關係, 睇怕叩門都無咩機會

St Stephen's 今年自行有 50 個位, 30個係比有姐姐已係小學讀緊, 根據 Uncle-DOS 既數據, 呢30個位係會用哂, 咁即係得番 20個位比其他. 30分會唔會都有D危險呢?

係有15分。但只有15分，聖心就吾知﹔但St.Stephen Girls'機會就超微喇!我個女舊年係SSGK讀K3，都係得15分，因宗教分只計聖公會，所以第一輪係陪跑，不過好彩第二輪抽中左。

吾駛驚派唔到冇得叩門，因為吾係SSGK既學生，基本上叩門機會係接近零

St. Stephen (Stanley) 學費好似係$5,xxx/月，再加埋課外活動好似係幾千/月,校車+飯錢又千几兩千........

來年會搬返柏道，小一好似會有四班，但行小班，所以都係收一百個位

其實上年只有 90 個學位, 自行得45個, 今年算是多了五個呢!

你意思係咪係以往既幼稚園報名表內見到30分必收呢? 我仲未決定好冇幫阿女報定間私校 backup.

30分唔係必收架, 自行分甲類和乙類. 甲類先係必收, 係指果D有兄姊/父母在同一小學就讀/工作既申請人. 其他要計分的屬於乙類.

有兄姊/父母在同一小學就讀/工作既申請人, 係屬於甲類, 入梗既, 完全唔使計分.

我地係乙類, 30分已包適齡分10分, 如果我女有埋宗教分, 可以高達35分, 可惜佢冇. 你可以去參考下教統局既小一入學計分法.

According to the Education Bureau, the points system is as follows:

1) 20 points if parents work at the same school
2) 20 points if siblings study at the same school
3) 20 points if a parent is governor of the school
4) 10 points if a parent is alumni of the school
5) 5 points if child is first born

You can only claim one out of the above 5 categories

6) 5 points if you have the same religion
7) 5 points if you belong to the same organisation that runs the school

You can only claim one of the above 2 categories

8) 10 points if child is of the right age

So, if you do not belong to the first 3 categories, then the maximum points you can claim is 25 points.
And if you do not have the same religion & do not belong to the same organisation that runs the school, then I am afraid you can only claim up to 20 points.
Sorry to disappoint you, but unless there are hidden points that I am not aware of, I really can't see how you can claim 30 points.

Whatever!
If he really has 30 points, then there really is no reason to worry for him at all.
I have never heard of anyone failing to get in with 25 points, let alone 30, even if we are talking about La Salle, Maryknoll or St Mary!
Even with the reduced class size, there is only a slight chance for the 25 pointers to become vulnerable, but surely the 30 pointers will not be affected.

多謝你幫我解答左. 正如我前文所講, 我初初都覺得入硬, 但係睇左 Uncle-DOS 係另一個 post 既 statistics 先開始擔心, 因為照佢個 statistics, 50個位之中有30個會比甲類用哂, 咁咪剩番20個位咁少比乙類? 而我問過學校兩次, 頭一個職員答我入硬, 第二個答我唔一定, 所以咪有D擔心囉.
