My daughter attended pre-nursery before. So she is quite well-adapted to school environment. So far, I believe she handles it quite well. That is, she did not cry on her way to school or inside classroom at all. But I don't know how other kids are doing inside the classroom though. I will have to ask Ms. Sum or Ms. Chan on the other kids.

Basically my daughter is taking Kentville's school bus to school and back to home as well. When I asked her whether she likes to sit with classmates on the school bus, she said she enjoys the ride and so far no crying at all.

Start from yesterday I asked my maid went to ride the bicycle with him. I hope that can spend his energy and make him go to bed earlier. Did you buy the winter uniform? Do they have the cardigan?

For the winter uniform, I asked Miss Sum this morning. We need to buy the winter cardigan (in grey) by ourselves. For size change of uniform bought, we can give her and mark down your request (larger/smaller). She will pass to office for change. She is really nice and helpful, no wonder my son likes her very much.

Really strange wor. she said we can buy any style we like ('open chest' or not). I just refer to the order form and no cardigan can be ordered. Anyway, let us check with her on next Monday.

My daughter sits at the table that is facing the window. So if my assumption is correct, she is facing your son. At the beginning of this term, i noticed the boys sit on one side, the girls sit on the other side.

They have changed the seats yesterday. More than 5 kids cry today maybe they are not familiar. Miss Sum is busy in comforing them this morning. My son is now sitting at the table facing the wall.

not just boys. Miss Sum also needs to refer the seating plan when a student come in. My friend's daughter also changed the seat and cried today.

I believe the current weather is still okay. But if temperature drops a bit further, then I may consider to let my daughter wears winter PE uniform. However, my other question would be, the school indicated Dec 1 should be first date to wear winter uniform. Then why would peoples start wearing winter PE uniform so far ahead of Dec 1?

Then it is quite interesting because when I asked my daughter how did she get the sticker from Ms. Sum. My daughter did not give me any exact answer. Well, as long as my daughter enjoys school and likes to go to school, I am happy. After all, as parents, our responsibilities is to ensure the kids have good education and a happy childhood.

yes, my son always says he likes go to school and the teacher. He brought back a large bag after the party. 2 days before the party, he reminded me he'd have a party on Friday several times a day.

Back then, I looked at York's school profile, background as well as parents commentaries on the school. I believe it is also a good school. However, if you do a survey among many parents, I believe a majority of parents will prefer KV over York mainly because of: (1) popularity of KV students when they apply for P1 in future; (2) KV is well-known for its academic standard; (3) long established reputation of KV.
