I have a girl who was borned in Oct 2007.

Should I be looking for 幼兒園 or 幼稚園? In fact I am not sure about the differences. Is it about N or K?

What is the compulsory entry age in HK?

幼兒園是有2歲班,即2歲可以入學,under社會福利署管。如果你諗住比亞女出年返學讀,依家就要留意你心儀既幼兒園,有好多都開始接受報名。
幼稚園是under教育局,足2歲8個月才可以讀。
如果你諗住唔讀nursury,直接讀k1,咁就明年才報名。
