I want to withdraw from a nursery with effect from 1 Oct but when I call them today, they said they require a one month notice. So the earliest effective date would be 4 Oct. and I need to pay a full-month tuition fee for Oct. Is this practice common? Should I pay them? Also, after handing in the withdrawal letter, would the teachers treat my son badly in school in this remaining month (as they would know we'll leave soon). Thanks.

我也曾在幼稚園做行政工作，你可以放心，老師們是專業的，是不會對孩子不好。反過來，老師會唔捨得孩子，始終有一個多月的相處時間。學校只會想了解為何家長有轉校的情況，只是怕對孩子不好吧，又要適應新學校的生活吧！請放心。
