My son is in p1(3). After 4 days in new environment, today he happily told me that he knew 3 friends in the class.
I'm also very appreciate the prompt response of Ms Tsui. She is very helpful & nice.

佢叫 Tagan Tsui, 又多咀又大懵,成日都有東西唔記得帶番嚟,第一日連手冊都無攞到,要我打電話比 Miss Tsui 補番,今日又唔記得攞新派果個 folder,攪到 Miss Tsui 又要打電話話比我聽( Miss Tsui 真係幾好人),仲有就係我發覺唔見咗本 "general studies textbook" 同 "綜合高效識字"書, 問佢係唔係老師收咗佢又唔知,激死人呀!

昨日被派了看P2 badminton,要去P2 各個課室叫on list 的小朋友出來排隊去HALL上堂 (i.e. gp1, 2 & 3 都有部份小朋友學badminton).
雖然見不到亞仔(武術好似在cover playground),但有機會接觸到其他SM的小朋友都好開心!亞仔回家後更示範了兩招給我看

total 10 words.
I explain the word "Tradition" to my baby: 傳統習慣 i.e. 中秋節- 吃月餅, 過年- 豆利市.
要用Tra + di + tion 分3部分記 才易記住spelling.

Can you tell me how do you know about the dictation? I asked my boy and he said Mr Gaffney didn't say so. He didn't write down on the homework book. I tried to find his English book (the school based materials) but he said he left in school. So, I have no idea on those ten words and do not know how long it would take for him to remember those words. Oh my God!!!!!!!
Appreciate anyone can tell me the 10 words. My boy is in P1G2.

My son marked the words "Eng: learn your dictation word." on the Homework Diary on 12 Sept. Then he tell me the words sticked on P 10 of English Book. But today they did not bring the English Book to home, they said the book was received by teacher.
The ten words: big, family, house, mother, dad, school, light, bathroom, bed, tradition
Maybe this can help you.

係呀, 睇下書包有冇張白紙打咗10個英文生字, 而intranet都有講22/9要默書. 如果真係唔太sure, 最好打比Miss Tsui問一問啦.

他說:現talent class 是drawing, 無須穿p.e.uniform.
故我估計要看"talent class" 的內容才決定是否穿p.e.uniform??? 如是運動類, 穿p.e.uniform & 球鞋較適合.

I think each student may be slightly different. My boy takes Cricket first, then Chinese Opera, Drawing and Table Tennis.
As recalled, the school will let the kids to try all the activities (10+) in P1 and P2. They will then specialize in one or two from P3 onwards.

我仔仔是P1G2 民社(Green) Talent class: drawing, cricket, chinese opera, the last one is fencing.
Maybe difference colour p.e. uniform, diference talent class.

How long do you take for preparing the dictation?
I spend at lease a few days last time for 10 words. I tried using the phonic but my boy seemed not understand.
What is the average score? My boy scored 8 out of 10. He told me there were full marks and zero (???).
