一般情況15分無乜chance架,但1st round培基收硬佢喎,梗係霸住培基個位先,再考其他直資&私校啦,1st round results舊年好似同YW,TSL等直資同日公報架.但天主教讀基督教學校你/你餅O唔OK先?有d人無乜所謂但有d人就唔得,好似我咁就好唔comfortable.

Kristy嘅遭遇我深表同情,絕對同意幼稚園同小學唔同,絕對同意classroom要有discipline,但我最最最最最憎d老師將另一同學作比較,佢知不知道呢套嘢好out架?咁樣d小朋友自我形像會好低同無晒自信架.

係有D肉赤O者!
佢以前一入課室就攬住個老師, and K2 時個老師就成日讚佢好快做晒要做O既野之後, 就周圍睇O下其他同學洗唔洗幫手. 但 in 小學, 依D就叫做過位傾計. 佢地未曉小學生O既 rules, 俾D時間O麻, 第一日就咁惡, 我自己有D戥佢難過, 諗佢當時實好錯愕, 計埋BB班4年, 從未知過原來老師係可以惡O既!
漠講話佢, 我都要時間適應! (sumyinma 實笑我啦!)

我揾小學都攪一大餐架,ESF d priority rules好麻煩架,我未有BB已經喺澳洲買定insurance準備過去生,儲定Asia Miles換J class機票,好搏咁放棄ESF Tsing Yi揀入SC,就係咁令入ESF條路崎嶇好多,寫信寫email只求一個interview機會...只不過大家玩唔同嘅game咋.

舊年d嘢我記得好清楚,你可以search番舊年d posts, 1st round出result嗰日正正係RC Sports Day,嗰日有N個friend call我,有d好朋友報喜抽到LS,MCS, St. Joseph...有d人抽唔到call我哭訴,TSL同YW又唔得...一手揸相機一手揸電話,同DanDan影咗好少相咋,finally仲攪到我論論盡盡跌咗個相機袋

今年DanDan老師係Sydney人,所以非常啱key,同Ms. Fisher好唔同,今年個老師較mature,係3女之母,大女已經結咗婚, 我個人覺得做咗媽媽嘅老師較包容+有耐性, 睇唔出Ms. Fisher原來都幾惡,DanDan同Bill都驚佢鬧架,不過唔知係唔係男孩子大方d唔記仇,俾老師鬧完都咁鍾意老師.

佢早兩日都仲話悶, 成日要聽學校及校巴守則, 唔想返學; 昨晚我返到屋企, 佢居然同我講想快d聽日可以又返學, 我問佢學校有d咩開心嘢? 佢話"今日去禮堂唔係聽悶嘢, 係聽演唱會(樂器介紹), 仲可以小休同小朋友一齊落操場食嘢同玩, 我鍾意返學!".

我都覺得Marco醒目,等人自己寫,包唔會寫錯.係呀,DanDan又係唔鍾意講男女關係,拍拖結婚呢d嘢,睇奧運開幕時,有個5歲女仔坐郎朗隔離彈琴,我就話個女仔又叻又靚女,娶佢做老婆好唔好?DanDan竟然話<大個先諗而家唔諗>可能呢個age識怕醜,會回避呢d問題

唔係人人慳到4年外傭稅架,我已經俾咗一期無得refund,所以盡慳都係3.75年 ie 7期咋!

原來你6月簽,咁你有大把時間,我係3月簽,所以好彩政府8月finalize到個新方案,唔洗白白9月交多期,我個工人由2002做到而家,從無經agent,做renewal其實好簡單,去immigration攞晒成set papers,本booklet有晒guidelines有晒checklist,提前續約同平時續約basically一樣,只係要俾1month written notice佢and填多份undertaking話你會immediately after the date of termination再hire佢,因between 2 contracts係無break, the employment is deemed continuous,所以唔洗俾long sevice/severance payments,但你工人咁新,呢d都唔係issue,但我就係issue所以要查得好清楚.

你個問題我舊年親自打過去朗誦協會問,佢話open係suppose俾以英文為母語嘅小朋友,non-open就係俾唔係以英文為母語嘅小朋友,所以d鬼仔鬼妹唔可以參加non-open,而open係suppose standard比較高,所以評分較緊,我話唔係喎,我小朋友參加non-open時,全部都係香港人嚟喎,佢話其實唔應該係咁,但你自己覺得小朋友handle到都俾你參加嘅,不過評分標準就一定唔同.我覺得事實係,non-open無咁細個(4-5歲)嘅event,最細都要P1,幼稚園生喺無選擇下,變相攪到open & non-open嘅分別好含糊,朗誦協會個staff都話為保持質素,所以舊年將參加朗誦嘅minimum age提高到5歲,做成低我哋一屆嘅小朋友要K3先可以參加,(我哋當年K2已經可以).

So, 係咪只係比 visa fee 就得? 要預幾多時間比 Immi 做野呀? 又係 4-6 星期? 係咪 for example, 我十月一日比 one month notice 個工人話 terminate, then submit application form to Immigration stating that I will continue to hire her under a new employment contract? 你兩個約中間無 break 開? 前掛聽又話 Immi 做唔切, 可能會比 d 工人唔使離境先 start the new contract, 聽到我一舊雲!

你 d 誦材係咪學校比？ Last week or today? I received the form yesterday and enrolled in PTH solo verse, Eng solo verse and prose reading and paid $210. But when I went to school over lunch today, I only found an irrelevant Cantonese 誦材 (which I did not register interest) without any notice. Not sure if the school will help me to enrol in the 3 contests or not.

Apart from visa fee ($2XX),仲要俾機票,($1XXX) minimum monthly salary加到$3580 (this won't affect you if you are already paying $3580 under the existing contract or you have been paying your maid more than the minumum), the authentication fee ($4XX) (charged by the Philippine Consulate) and agency fee (我自己攪所以唔洗俾)

<要預幾多時間比 Immi 做野呀? 又係 4-6 星期?>
吓?邊洗咁耐?你平時做renewal揾agent要咁耐咩?你去immigration攞set papers睇睇啦,寫得好清楚架,不過I can't remember exactly now.好似係termination date前4星期至terminaton date後14日期間可以去Immigration攪, but before your maid can apply her visa, she has to take the employment contract to the Philippine Consulate for authentication. Usually係1星期but recently可能多人,攪咗2星期, immigration反而快, visa即日就批,同以前一樣.

<你兩個約中間無 break 開?> Of course, under 舊約,佢last day係31/8, under新約佢1/9返工咪無break囉.

<工人唔使離境>Yes, but一年內一定要離境,同一般renewal無分別,填visa application張form時揀defer home leave就得.

I come back. Very busy!!!  It is not easy to have two jobs  (half-day working plus full-time mom).  Besides, I continue answering some emails and talking on phone after office. I am not as lucky as you la.

Poor Sarah, I also can't imagine she cried.  To my impression, Sarah is very tough and mature.

Mine is not king information at all. I am sure numerous employers have already done that. 我真係好唔順俾呢筆$政府囉. If your next payment is due in October, you must act quickly. Actually, my maid was the one who picked up the papers from the Immigration Office, took the contracts to the Philippine Consulate for authentication and also went to the Immigration Office to apply for visa extention. I just filled out the forms, wrote cheques and provided her with the required documents.

記住去申請visa可以網上/電話預約up to 兩星期,有d employers唔知,竟然叫個工人前一晚喺街頭露宿等入境處開門.

我個女又係冇乜功課做, 仲 22/9 先返全日, 個仔 K3 功課反而多過. Anson 沉日做中文, 要寫"同學", "學生", 做左超過 1.5 hrs, 做到佢又喊, 我又嬲!

唔好咁啦,小朋友被罰就一定有架喇,不過可能男仔同女仔好唔同,女仔會較上心,返嚟同你訴苦令做媽媽嘅你好難受,男仔就較樂天,唔記仇,你估DanDan罰得少呀?坐單丁位,recess無得出playground玩等等都試唔少,但我從無難過,仲有d心涼(幾變態!),因DanDan話舊年個班主任雖然鬧人時好惡,好大聲,DanDan同其他小朋友仍然好鍾意老師,放假都掛住佢,放心啦,Kristy咁乖,我諗罰一兩次就學精唔會再被罰.

I felt curious about the 誦材 given by the school.  I enrolled Valerie for English and PTH verse speaking but the class teacher put a piece of Cantonese verse speaking material in Valerie's folder.  Does it mean that they won't help to hand in Valerie's application (re. Eng & PTH)?  So I have to watch out if they refund the money to me.  Btw, Valerie is assigned to Skipton House.  What's Sarah's house?

After reading your post last night, I urged my maid to take the form/contract from immigration this morning and then go to Phillipine Consulate. She can collect it on Sept 18th. Now I will follow your new guideline to reserve the visa application.

Online quotas have been fully booked for coming 12 days. My maid needs to get a walk-in quota subject to availability. I will tell her to bring a tent sleep over night outside the Immigration Department.

As per my understanding, the renewel of next contract should be on or before July 31, 2010.  Definitely it will be thronged with visa application before deadline.  Government will announce special arrangement by early of 2010 as the website stated.  Donald Tseng is really too smart.  How come don't simply waive the employee retraining levy !?

我架 school-bus 都唔知攪 mud 鬼, 我住奧運, 都要早一個鐘上車 & 放學之後一個鐘先返到屋企, 又話 4:10 到, 日日都4:30先到, 我工人又唔敢遲 d 落樓, 怕佢有朝一日真係準時 (though the possibility is very remote), 又要帶埋細佬落去等, 遲 d 天冷都唔知點算!

都係 SC 架 school-bus 醒, 成架車50人, 都30分鐘返到黎, 仲好少遲到添!

學樂器真係一個同小朋友最易有conflict嘅根源,我已經4日無同仔開火嘞,點解?咪因為弦樂團coming week放假,4日無練琴囉!佢Sunday & Monday練咗首表演歌,見OK就算,過去幾日學完嘢返屋企食完dinner沖埋涼,做完homework,都散晒啦,邊有力抬起個琴吖,返full day時間真係唔夠用架,我唯一比你好係DanDan暫時依然好鍾意violin,而violin嘅音色實在係好幽雅,我自己都好鍾意聽,不過弦樂真係特別難,如果唔係好鍾意係好難堅持下去,但100% agree<又唔想佢話唔學就唔學>,都戥你頭痕.

作文單嘢算啦, 老師send咗message嚟安慰我喇,I quote from her message

13/9 去了兩場簡介會. 早上dbs 都係聽o下, 萬人空巷, 2nd in 時, 要好似警察考幫辦試咁, 一個小朋友面對一字排開o既幾名考官, 佢地要收d自信心強的 (like Dan Dan), 我聽倒都腳仔軟.
下午去了培僑, 感覺幾好, 我覺得對 Anson 幾適合, 不過據聞好多人考呢!

星期日去九展, 有個直排滾軸溜冰場, 有得試堂, $80 (1 hr), 佢地 4 個小朋友玩, 我對 Anson 另眼相看, 佢平時少爺仔咁, 平衡力又麻麻地, 成日跌, 估唔到佢跌倒又爬起身, 跌倒又爬起身, 最後腳都軟埋, 個教練叫佢休息o下都堅持繼續, 好感動呀! 好似劉德華咁型呀!

My impression to Pui Kiu is quite good too. However, English seems not enough. Moreover, once PK accepts your son, you have to give up "lucky draw". Is it ok to your hubby?
For maths, I would recommend Enopi though I didn't apply this to Alicia. (hee...)

Anson玩滾軸溜冰嘅故事,我都好感動,我識好多小朋友唔輸得乜都要第一,一有困難就放棄,Anson真係少有的tough,呢d人會成功架,

我一直都話你無用欣賞嘅角度去睇Anson,多d發掘佢嘅優點啦,唔係你會錯過咗好多.

咪聽LaLa up,我唔係百科全書,市面上數學嘅course我並無深入了解,不過同chingyu一樣,較喜歡Enopi,貪佢包含推理無咁死板,我遲d都可能會俾DanDan試,其實DanDan由K2下學期一直學珠算至今,都係時候停下,做paper就難免, Enopi比Kumon, 珠算同Kwik Maths功課量已經少,不過聽有d家長講, Kwik Maths 較配合local school課程,咁就要睇你想Anson學數嘅目的,係想提升佢運算能力去handle學校功課同測驗,定想佢多思考重推理,培養對數學嘅興趣.

講開 Kristy, 中秋節晚, 11 點幾, Kristy & Anson 入房 sleep, 突然 Kristy 大嗌, 一個血人跑出黎, 原來佢貪玩, 收埋枝粗瑩光捧o係床, 以為愈屈佢愈光, 點知斷開左, d紅色射晒去塊面 & 入了左眼. 佢好驚, 因我成日話佢聽入面d野有毒, 狂沖水佢仲係話好痛, 唯有飛車去仁安睇急証.  已 check 冇事, now 亦冇紅, 只係d幾日要滴眼藥水, 我諗佢其實驚多過痛, 猛問佢會唔會死, 去到醫院牙都震, d nurse 以為佢凍, 俾張 blanket 佢, I think 佢奇實係驚到震.  佢同我講話:唔知點解d牙自己震o既?  玩這些瑩光捧要小心, i think some of those are 倉底貨, 擺左好耐, d膠硬化, 特別易斷.

吓?咁即係粗幼都會爆?我哋年年都有玩瑩光棒,但touch wood從未爆過,可能今年我哋玩得斯文,追月嗰晚DanDan熄晒全屋嘅燈,將d瑩光棒喺地下鋪條好colourful嘅路出嚟,由門口開始,經過飯廳,走廊 and then鋪到入廚房,佢話要俾放完假嘅工人姐姐一個surprise喎.

Unless係Saturday,唔係要請假都無計,不過請half day都夠架喇.揀Shell你要預咗d分較緊,皆因係open class,好多時冠軍都只係8X分,攞merit唔難但honours就非常難.

睇完殘奧會,我真係超級佩服d運動員,中秋假期同個囝and老公一齊游水,可能真係太耐無3個人一齊游,DanDan開心到傻咗,不停諗d怪雞泳式俾我同老公游eg.一人拖佢一隻手,3個人一排咁游,但老公同我只可單手勃水(因一隻手要拖住佢);佢又試過爬上我身,我勃水佢踢腳,etc 游得我幾辛苦,但我深深體會到無咗任何一隻limb,已經做唔到平時易到極嘅嘢,嘩!游嗰短短25m,竟然斷氣咁滯.DanDan就覺得勁好玩,尋日又玩過,其他泳客以為我哋呢家人係殘奧會fans.

殘奧會 - yes. very touching and amazing.

I heard they had overcome lots of problems when taking the planes for Olypmics in different countries. It has already been painful for us to take 8 to10-hour flight. Some of those handicapped need special massage and treatment on the plane.

I don't mind Mr. Toilet talking about shxt for fun. This could be normal for kids of his age. But he is now "famous" for talking and writing about shxt. All his worksheets including but not limited to putonghua, Chinese, Spanish, 珠心算 are full of his handwriting about poopoo and wee. He has been urging me to teach him how to write the Chinese characters 屎 & 尿,我真係采佢都傻.

So, that's the difference between going to local vs int'l schools. Mr. Toilet only knows how to write the English of poo poo and wee wee, but Ms. V already knows both the Eng and Chinese!!! Last week, when she read a book with the word 尿尿 (as a verb), she said confidently, "我知! lee 度個水字變做米字, 咪係個屎字 lor!"
