The school, KCCIS, uses Mandarin as teaching medium for Chinese. For an int'l school, the students' Chinese level is pretty high. Grade 7 students use P.6 Chinese textbooks for local primary schools. G.12 read 咆哮山莊. There are 2 classes in each form except G.11 - 13, only 1 class each. G.11 students sit for the IGCSE exam and G.12, 13 take the IB Diploma Course. The present G.13 students will be the first group to graduate from KCCIS. Most of the students are from Hong Kong while the others are Taiwanese, Singaporean or half Chinese and they behave themselves. Most of the teachers are native English speakers. School fee is $73,000 per annum including textbooks and a Macintosh laptop computer which will be loaned for use at home.
