我覺得係2條不同路. 視乎你是否很喜歡普通話教學.
我覺得KCS不是一間牟利的學校.
我未認識Victoria 是怎樣, 暫時未有comment.

我自己個女而家就讀kcs n1
之前都有報victoria 但因為某d原因去唔到interview
我就打過電話去reschedule 但安排唔到
所以都comment唔到維記好唔好
so far 係kcs番咗三日學, d老師都好有禮貌
不過聽電話個d就真係麻麻,
但係以我經驗維記聽電話個d staff都唔見得好有禮貌
但傳聞話kcs一班好多人, 事實就唔係咁差
以我女個班為例, 一班35人有三個老師一個嬸嬸
英文時間另加一個英文老師, 師生比例算ok
我眼見呢兩日有d喊得好勁d小朋友,
老師會獨立咁抱住佢安慰佢, 照顧得算ok
其實兩間學校走唔同路線, 各有需求

另外, 新學年第一兩日, 尤其係底班
實有小朋友喊, 另實有客長額外緊張
一定混亂架啦

n班係無本地同國際分架
到k1至有分
所以我個女個班都有成三分一人係外籍or mix...

其實D老師好NICE, 但唔係假.

第一日一定亂, 但第二日已經好好多.
3個老師,1個嬸嬸,1個英文老師,ok啦.

果日派表,就帶BB去,順便SCHOOL VISIT... 去到,問幾個老師模樣既人,問佢邊度派表, 答唔知..要我去辦公室問,去到副校長室,個副校長,頭都沒抬,話齣邊左轉辦公室派..去到,又話冇.. 要我去返副校長果邊辦公室..其實就'副校長'辦公室行入去一個派.. 副校長都唔知派表既事宜??

照你咁講...你似係入左茶色玻璃門入面o既副校長室同幼稚園辦公室喎...幼稚園係處理K1-K3級別架,D老師都應該唔係幼兒園(N1)O既老師喇...而家幼兒園辦公室O係雨操場好彩色O既一排房O個邊..

Actually, my baby got the offer from both nurseries and I finally decided to chose KCS.

睇政府d報告指我最近间維記嘅教学ok,但仍有改進空间.....
而家我又覺得好似太商業化....所以冇交表.
而蘇淅比我感覺校園環境幾舒服,
好容易見到有外藉小朋友,又有三文兩語,不過諗起條斜路就有d驚

It is indeed a big struggle to choose between the 2 nuseries. My main reasons for choosing KCS on behalf of my baby are as follow:
1.  I like the campus of KCS........it is much much bigger than Victoria. I think my baby will be happier learning in a spacious campus with both indoor and outdoor playground more than Victoria.
2.  I have joined the playgroup of Victoria for my baby, very disppointed......though people say nursery and KG are better.
3..  My baby can sing a few songs in Mandarine after going to KCS in less than 1 month, it is amazing as no one at home teach her Mandarine........ I think it is a trade off between Mandarine and English when you choose between Victoria and KCS
4. The main point of going to Victoria is to learn English, but 2 of my friends told me that the English teacher of her baby's class in Vitoria are very passive, their daughters have not gained a lot from the english environment created........but, I think , if you are of better luck, your baby may meet an active english teacher
5.  The fee of KCS is much much cheaper than Victoria........but more than half of the class in my baby's class is non-Chinese.  Thus, with much lesser fee but more international environment than Victoria, I think it is worth of trying........
6.  I totally agree that the administration of KCS is in chaos.  I have also encountered a few very unfriendly adm. staff in KCS (I think they are from the KG section).  Thus, I do not want to choose KCS at the beginning because of this too.  But after all, how much will this have impact on my baby...... the key are the teachers, not the adm. staff, right?

Victoria is very famous as many rich people and famous stars' babies go there.  Thus, it is all up to each parent to value which factor is more important.  Hope the above help.

我之前好想我个女入維記 - me also, but change mind now : )

諗起條斜路就有d驚 - treat this is a good exercise for your baby every morning loh : )

蘇淅比我感覺校園環境幾舒服 - without the school buses parking in the campus will be very very good lah..........I wonder why doesn't the school spend some $$$ and find another parking place for the buses to make the campus more attractive to the parents and release more space for the children to play.

What is their English Level? Will you all decide to choose the local or int'l class?

Did they merge nursery with kindergarten?
i.e. After you enroll and study the nursery for 1 year, will it go to K1?

but you gals are all discussing about the current condition of the two kindergarten, how about the future? What kind of primary school do students of these two kindergarten graduated into? And mommy that has been to Victoria playgroup, which one did your baby go to? There are new campus coming up! Although the waiting list is unbelievable. Both Homantin and Olympic area, I have waited since May!

Of course, if you vote for international school in the future, no doubt you should go to Victoria as Victoria has adopted the IB curriculum. However, I have determined to let my child to go to a local school.....so, KCS is a better choice as academically, they are more difficult than Victoria....thus, more easier to get use to the P1 curriculum of HK.

Furthermore, I plan to let my child goes to an aided school, so no difference between Victoria or KCS under the current P1 allocation system. I think if you aim at sending your child to a private or direct school, there might be a difference as Victoria's name is more famous than KCS....though I am not 100% sure about this as interview mainly depends on the child's performance. But after all, KCS is also a famous school on the HK Island.

我自己係讀蘇淅幼稚園同小學...都想個囡入返去讀幼稚園...雖然個囡仲係好細, 但我想話如果想自己d小朋友兩文三語好的話, 蘇淅係ok的!
