Which one is better? HK Preschool AM Class or Victoria Harbour Green PM Class? Anyone could give suggestion as both school accepted my little girls....

Which one is better for applying the good primary schools? I heard that the English level of HK Preschool is higher than Victoria. However, Victoria is more famous. It's hard for me to make decision.

If I were you, I'll choose HK Preschool. Not only their English standard is high, their primary allocation is quite good too. For Victoria, most of the good comments actually come from their Causeway Bay campus. The new campuses on Kowloon side do not have any graduates yet and so there is no track record.

Are you N1 or K1? HKPS has good primary allocation for boys. So you may choose Victoria for your girls.

Pupils from Victoria are not only strong in English but also have good attitude towards learning. That's why even their curriculum is not as difficult Kentville, their pupils still perform well in top primary schools. As for primary allocation, no one can tell how Victoria (Harbour Green) will do as it's a new campus. However, their Causeway Bay campus does has good track record (e.g. last year they have 12 pupils accepted by St Paul's Coed - out of a total vacancy of 120!). Still, there is no gurantee other campuses will do as well. For LH, their curriculum and style is quite similar to Victoria but it seems to focus on pathing pupils to new DSS schools. Their record to traditional top primary schools is not very impressive. Anyway, both are good schools and it depends on what kind of primary schools you want your kids to go to in the future.
Ah, one more thing - LH's Chinese seems a little bit stronger than Victoria.

Can anyone inform any black and white evidence that HK Preschool have good primary school allocation (not by lucky draw) for graduates, I cannot find that from their website..........

In LH, a very high% of their students go to DSS/ private schools.

The teacher of Victoria Harbour Green is too commerical, they lack of enthusiasm and caring during the lesson but present how good and how professional they are when they sell their school to parents.

大角咀victoria，沒有西人老師。校內只有3位abc/bbc老師。你們可以去website看下，website內有老師的背境資料。

根據主任說，他們是行cycle system，即是星期一全天上廣東話，星期二全天上英文，星期三全天上mandarin。如此類推。

我lh都去過問，如果要languages強，lh會比較好。

Victoria Kindergarten (Harbour GREEN)他們在ｏｐｅｎ　ｄａｙ的時侯會出很多西人老師，原來他們全部都不是有ｈａｒｂｏｕｒ　ｇｒｅｅｎ教的，因此我很失望。我打去學校問，主任說因為想學生盡快學好英文，當小朋友用ｃａｎｔｏｎｅｓｅ問的時間，ａｂｃ／ｂｂｃ老師會用英文去回答，對學英文會事半功倍！！

我是第一次聽如此的理由！！！　家長如何想小朋友入此校，真是要問過清楚。不去問是不知道真相！！

I have the same situation, my boy got offer from HK Pre-school and Victoria(HG) but both are pm. I don't know how to choose.

如睇以上有D 媽媽COMMENTS VICTORIA 既英文教學是如此的, 我會PREFER HKPS. 佢地係外籍英文老師的, 而程度也深.

ｖｉｃｔｏｒｉａ　說自己是國際幼稚園，我都不知點解。
沒有一個外來學生，沒有一位是外來老師，校內員工全是廣東話為主的人士。
我對此校抱有很高的期望，了解過後，有點失望。

根據湯主任說，他們是推行ｃｙｃｌｅ制，即是ｍｏｎｄａｙ用中文，ｔｕｅｓｄａｙ一天用ｍａｎｄａｒｉｎ，ｗｅｄ用ｅｎｇｌｉｓｈ。小息及ｇａｍｅ的時間用回自己的母語（ｃａｎｔｏｎｅｓｅ），小朋友學英文的時間真是不多。

我又看到校內的圖書館的書架中文書多過英文書的。

家長們要打去問清楚，打下決定都未遲。

１）　英文堂每天多少分鐘？（按ｃｙｃｌｅ　ｓｙｓｔｅｍ下，一星期上英文課多少天？）
２）　會不會教ｊｏｌｌｙ　ｐｈｏｎｉｃｓ？
３）　他們說中國臉孔會說中文的老師教英文會事半功倍，為什麼？

我覺得victoria最值錢, 最吸引的地方, 係訓練到小朋友怎樣去思考, 這個是多多錢都買不到的! 如你在幼稚園階段只是追求學術上學到幾多, 維記就未必適合!

I like Ms Tong too. She is my boy's playgroup teacher (Harbour Green). However, she said she would only teach playgroup in future. I wish she would continue to teach my boy's PN class.

Oh, My daughter is now K2 at Belchers' Ms Tong and Teacher Elise were her PN class teachers hence my good recommendation. I think its a loss to Belcher campus!
