Hi all,
I'd tried to ask Calix what have they done in school and he just said some silly words and laughed (he still can't share much about school life). I asked if he likes Ms. Chan & Ms. Lam and he said yes. I asked if he wants to go to KV again and he said yes too.

Ms. Chan was not on Calix's bus route. The teachers on the school bus in the morning and afternoon are different. I didn't notice their names but both of them look very nice. Calix got a sticker when getting onto the bus and a marshmallow when coming home.

I'd asked Ms. Chan to call me today and she phoned me at around 2:00pm. She said only 1 kid cried today and Calix was a bit shy at first but had warmed up after the snack time. Ms. Chan sounds love kids very much.

Hope to hear more feedback from you after day 1's schooling.

I saw from other threads that the teachers let them watching Noddy. I'd asked my son if they'd watched TV or not but he said no.
Yesterday I found my son's snack box had one small cake and he said that's given by his classmate. Also, he always mentioned Toby (he said is a girl). I don't know if that's true or not.

It's really hard to "open their mouth" to talk more about their school life.

hi,, today is the second day.. nice to meet you all.... cassidy told me nobody cried this morning and she told me they sing play and watch TV.. when i ask her what did she watch this morning.. she told me they watch backyardigans... um.,,,, i think she is "luen up" haha.. they didnt go out to play after snack time..

calix mom, i thought they're in the same schoolbus... i'm not very sure.. but dun think there're 2 buses in the same route.. miss chan really in the school bus on the first day of school.. (when they back home.. not in the morning)
haha.. tell you what.. i ask cassidy whether she know calix or not.. she said yes.. dunno it's true or not

Yes, Chloe said she liked Miss Chan and Miss Lam. She loved to go to school. As my maid said(when she picked her up), they watched Noddy in the classroom.

I remember that you live in MOS, right? We live in Whampoa Garden and that's why we didn't see Ms Chan on the school bus.

Calix is still like a baby and always "luen up" too. When I asked if he knows his classmates' names, he'll say a lot of strange words.

Yeah, Calix also said they watched Noddy yesterday. I asked if they'd sung any song. He said yes and "fish". Don't know if the song is about fish or not.
Calix only mentioned Ms. Chan at home but not Ms. Lam. Is Ms. Lam in the classroom?

Do your kids like KV? I asked Calix if his likes his pre-nursery school or KV. He said KV. I asked him why and he said "it's because if I don't cry and behave well at school, mom will give me a chocolate candy and sticker." He also likes to eat the snacks given by Ms. Chan too. But I'm afraid he's eating too much snacks now...

i'm worrying about the english standard of the teachers... coz yesterday i wrote a notice in cassidy's handbook.. and here is the msg to miss chan

i said

miss chan, can she wear rainboots back school in rainy days?

and miss chan just signed by the side of my note but she didnt answer my question...

BTW, @the day of orientation,,.. she pop up 1 or 2 english words ... her pronounciation is not quite good.. eg.. she told us to see the folder if we have any questions... there are many "general information" she said "jan la lo- yin fong mei 唇"
a bit shocked

cassidy told me yesterday didnt watch tv.. but read story.. but she didnt tell me whether they're in groups or not.. coz i saw the msg from the other thread they seems will be in groups.. so kind of apple group banana group.. didnt hear her mention about that

I called Ms. Chan on Friday after school and she returned my call this morning. Some info. got from Ms. Chan:
(1) they have 點名

(2) if our kids can't go to school, they won't call us to confirm whether our kids are sick or have any reason for a leave

(3) school buses stop inside the dorset campus; teachers along the way will lead the kids to toilet first before entering the classrooms

(4) kids are divided into 4 groups now (those take school buses sit together); will re-arrange the groups once the class routine is settled

(5) kids are required to take out their snack box by themselves after washing hands (Ms. Chan said my son is slow in taking out the snack box)

(6) they'll encourage the kids to eat as possible as they can but won't force the kids to eat/finish all if the kids don't want to in these 2 weeks (honeymoon weeks); after these 2 weeks, they'll be stricter in asking the kids to eat their food

(7) they had briefed the kids some rules when wearing the school uniforms (don't know what exactly are the rules)

(8) they had taught the kids to sing 有隻雀仔跌落水 last week

miss chan phoned me just now and telling me the rainboots issue. i talked with her and she told me there're few new classmates back school this morning... (those who sisnt back last week coz of some reasons) and there are few of them cry..

miss chan told me they sit in groups and the school bus group are very close and they chat all the time

cassidy like princess so much and miss chan also know that.. haha one day, she said miss chan hair is just like princess and miss chan said my hair is like princess but your face look like princess.. and now miss chan calls her princess nui nui .. haha

I think Ms. Chan should be very nice coz my son always mentions her at home.
The teacher on the school bus when Calix comes home is very nice too and always has a smiling face. She's called Ms. Kung.

My son fell asleep twice when returning home last week. I told Ms. Chan that I was a bit worried as there's no seat belt on the school bus. She asked me not to be worried as the teacher will check the status of the kids regularly. Also, they'll assign K1 kids to sit beside elder brothers & sisters in K3 (or maybe K2 too).

today cassidy got seeweed from school.. and ms chan gave her a sticker of cinderella.. which my daughter's favourite character.. last time when ms chan phoned me.. i told her cassidy likes cinderella the most.. and today when cassidy back home.. she got a sticker (the one can only stick on glass) and she is so excited

BTW yanjoyce (joyce's mom), does your girl travel by schoolbus or not>? do you need to go to work? coz i have formed a dance group in babykingdom (most of us in ma on shan) just drop a note for you if you're interested.. and 2 of the mother also from ocean view

My son got a marshmallow and a buzzlighter sticker today.
My son said they'd fed the fish with the "balls" and Ms. Chan had told them a story about lion's birthday. Yet, I remember that one of you said this story was told last week. My son always has "時空交錯" problem.

I gave him a small raisin cake this morning and he finished most of it. I asked him what the other kids have for snacks and he said "biscuits". I asked if anyone eats bread. He said a 姐姐 with glasses ate bread today and he said he likes that 姐姐.
Today the teacher/auntie had helped my son to change a pair of socks prepared in his schoolbag. I asked him why and he said he'd made the socks wet when VV. But it's strange that his pants did not get wet.

The teacher on the school bus in the morning is called Ms. Lai. She's nice too.

My son slept on the school bus again when coming home today. He sat near the window and leaned against the boy sitting next to him.
When we had lunch today, my son looked very happy and sang "有隻雀仔跌落水" and "打開雪櫃" for many times.

He also mentioned a boy's name called "Alton Lee" (he spelt to me) and a girl with glasses called "Chong" (he spelt to me also). He said he likes playing with them and Alton had given him a cake (I found he had a cake in his snack box on the 1st school day).

I also asked what they need to sleep on the table after finishing the snack but he replied "not table, it's school bag".

When he drank water at home today, he always moved and didn't sit properly, I asked does Ms. Chan tell them how to sit properly (I just tried to test him and saw if Ms. Chan had said anything about this). He showed to me by saying "don't sit like that (lean forward); need to sit like this (lean against the back of the chair). Seems that Ms. Chan had taught them some general manner.

Also, he still told me that it's Ms. Chan who played the piano. So I asked what did Ms. Lam do when Ms. Chan playing the piano, he said "stand up" (in English).

My son can mention he's in K1H class now. He also said he likes Ms. Chan and Ms. Kung (the teacher on the returning school bus).

When we saw the KV school bus picking the p.m. kids to school, my son said he wanted to go to KV too.

Yet, one thing is my son still doesn't know how to take out their "small b" when going VV. So he made his socks wet again today. I tried to train him at home today and he still can't do it properly. He made his pants wet when he's taking out his "small b". Seems that many of your kids are daughters and really want to know the advice from other moms with sons that how they train their sons to go VV at school.

Yes, I agree......Yr son is really smart......can share so many things about school life w you......however my daughter could not remember any classmates' names......even the classmate sitting next to her.

Sorry that I missed your previous message. I'm so excited to know that your daughter is the "姐姐" in glasses mentioned by Calix! When was your daughter born? My son was born on 9 August, 2005.

As my son is very small in size, it's very funny that he always calls other boys and girls as "哥哥姐姐" coz they usually look bigger size than him! Sometimes the so-called "哥哥姐姐" maybe much younger than my son!

I'd asked my son if he knows Cassidy. He nodded his head. I tried to double check if he really knows her by asking if Cassidy is a boy or girl. He said a girl. I asked if Cassidy has 札辮 coz I notice from your profile pic that your daughter is in long hair and my son said yes.

today she also told me a nickname... actually she tell me few days already.. but dunno what she is talking about.. she always mentioned "灰熊"...

Today my son fell asleep on the school bus again when returning home. Maybe he's still not get used to wake up so early in the morning.
My son seems not knowing Joyce. Yet, he said the name of "Cassidy" suddenly but I just doubted whether it's just because I'd mentioned Cassidy to him before.

I know that Ms. Chan called my son as "Calix" in class according to my son. Also, Ms. Chan re-assured the pronunciation of my son's English name when she called me during the 1st week. On the orientation day, Ms. Chan knew that my son's English name is Calix and she asked if I wanted to add the English name on the school form or not and I said yes.

Calix told me a new classmate's name today which is "Lo Yee Fun". He spelt the name to me again as he likes to read others' name tags. He called her "姐姐" again and said he likes playing with her.

Also, today he murmured to himself, "學校叫咩名呀？。。。根德園幼稚園。。。根德園幼稚園。。。". He repeated the Chinese name of KV for several times. Just wonder if the teachers had taught them how to say their school name.

Today got a colouring picture from my son's school bag. He said they did it today and also said Ms. Lam coloured the starfruit with him together.
I asked if he knew the fruit on the picture. He said "泥桃" (should be 楊桃 instead) and "starfruit". He named the other one as "orange" (but it should be 林柿 actually).
Then I asked if he knew "...天空上" (I just said these few words) and he said the followings with body movements:

"月亮光，月亮圓，好像燈籠掛在天空上"

Also, when he had the lunch today, he asked me to take out his small toy piano and said "我想扮Ms. Chan". Then he played the piano with his fingers moving very fast and laughed. I think Ms. Chan plays the piano very well. I asked what song did Ms. Chan play? He said "Happy Birthday". I asked what the kids were doing when Ms. Chan played the piano. He showed to me that they put down their heads.

Anything interesting to be shared from the other kids?

P.S. Hi Cassidy mom, seems that we are the most talkative moms in this thread and you get used to browse BK so late at night?

I want to share my daughter's school life with everybody also but I'm sorry that she's always telling in a mess. Seems can not trust.

Your boy & girls are so smart that can explain u so much. They can express themselves much better than my daughter Vianca.

The only thing I can share is about "marking attendance". Yesterday Vianca was holding a pen & started marking on a paper while calling out my maid's name loudly. My maid asked her "what?" And Vianca said "Hand up", "Say present". My maid followed her request. Then, she wrote a "sign" on the paper.

Then, she called out "Mami". Of course I raised my hand up & said "

resent!". She smiled & made another "sign" on the paper. So funny!!!

Please don't mind to share even a small piece of interesting thing from your daughter coz we can make up the whole story piece by piece, just like playing a puzzle!  I thine we all want to find out what's happened in K1H everyday, right?

What you'd told about the 點名 is very interesting!  I'll see my son has any response if I talk about this, haha...

My son won't tell me anything unless I ask him.  I need to use the information from other moms as clues too.

Just found that the correct version of the Chinese rhymes told by my son today should be:

Joyce just complained some tiny things......something like Cassidy'd pushed her......I think Cassidy wants to get more space to play her own toys coz they sit together

and have arguments easily.......but my girl likes to play w her.

for the take attendance.. i heard of cassidy mentioned before.. but i didnt ask her whether that take attendance in english name or chinese name.. let me ask her tomorrow morning

Cassidy mom, I'd asked Calix also. He has no response when I talked about "灰熊". Have you asked Cassidy what's it about?
My son likes singing very much. Recently I'd bought a Twins' nursery rhymes VCD for him and there's the song "3 Blind Mice". He looks excited when hearing this song and asked me to sing to him. Yet, he knows this song already b4 going to KV. So don't know if he learns this song in school too.

hi everyone,

today she told me last week they;ve go out and play bubbles.. and ms ng helped her

and she told me ms chan plays the piano when singing

and she told me now ms chan calls her cassidy leung when take attendance,,,.. then i ask her again.. did she say leung yan kiu when taking attendance... she told me is cassidy leung... she raises her hand... then ngai wing yan joyce.. raises her hand ... dunno she's blow water or not

cassidy will go to have vacation with me on the coming friday... and we'll back hk next monday night... tell me more what happens at school...

BTW.. tomorrow will start to normal hours.. isnt it?

Vianca Mom, your daughter is so cute! I think she likes to be a teacher when she grows up.

Calix was unwilling to wake up this morning and he was in a bad mood. He started to say I didn't want to get on the school bus...I didn't want to play the toys in school...

When the school bus came, he held my hands, walked away from the bus and started to cry.

I had no choice but to carry him onto the school bus. He tried to struggle too when I passed him to Ms. Lai. Finally I saw Ms. Lai sat together with my son by putting him on her knees. I still saw the tears in Calix's eyes when Ms. Lai asked him to wave us goodbye. I was a bit sad and worried.

This is the first time Calix doesn't want to get on the school bus (never happened during his nursery too). I really hope that he was just tired after a long holiday and didn't have enough sleep.

What about your kids? Did they have holiday sick today?

Calix slept on the again when returning home. He looked happy when he saw both of me and Daddy picking him up today.
He was excited to take out the story book in his schoolbag and asked me to read with him after returning home. The book looks very comprehensive in covering most of the activities and places in school.

Also, Calix suddenly said, "good morning children" (by Ms. Chan)..."good morning Ms. Chan, good mornng Ms. Lam" (by the kids)..."sit down please" (by Ms. Chan).

Then he said Ms. Chan will hold a book for attendance-taking and when Ms. Chan said "Calix Deng", he'll then raise up his hand saying, "到！".

He also sang the song "London Bridge is Falling Down" with two hands putting together high above his head. He also put his hands on my shoulders pretending to be a train.

Also, on the story book, there is a page about doing exercise. When seeing this page, Calix will stretch his arms & legs and said "大"; and his will say "London Bridge" when seeing the picture that the kid put up his hands.

My son also mentioned Cassidy's name frequently at home. Don't know if he's really knows her.

That's what I'd heard from Calix today.

dear moms..

today cassidy told me a lot of things..

1) joyce is absent today... isnt it? she told me nai wing yan got a little sick... so she didnt back school, she asked ms chan.. and she told me ngai wing yan got a cold... ms chan told her about that

2) they watch tv today... she told me they watch a cartoon about a dog.. but she didnt know what's the name of the dog

3) when i asked her did they go out and play after snack time.. she said no... but she told me ms chan and ms lam will bring them and play the swing on thursday

4) she sang a rhyme... actuallly that's not a rhyme i think,.. something like rhyme that ms chan taught them how to wash clothes... 羅件衫黎洗洗洗, 羅件衫黎扭扭扭, 羅件衫黎夾夾夾.. then mr sun will shine and make the clothes dry.. put in the drawer wait tomorrow to wear... when she says the pattern.. she has 動作.. she said they do that when PE time... and the 有隻雀仔跌落水 also have 動作and plays in PE time

5) she mentioned another name.. i think it's an english name... but i dunno what name is that.. something like.. "ferredard" she told me it's a boy.. and the name that i mentioned before"女孩子" should be "李or 呂x 子" it's a girl

6) when i asked her how many children wear glasses. she said only 1 ..

7) they take out the handbook by themselves.. she told me ms chan ask them to take out their handbooks and stamp flowers... she said if not tidy.. ms chan will stamp pigs.. i told her dun have pigs.. she told me ms chan 收埋左the pig stamp

camom.. dont worry... he'll be ok tomorrow.. maybe only they got a long weekend and still in holiday mood..

Yes, Joyce didn't go to school this morning. She got cold

Joyce likes to play w Cassidy......she always calls her Leung Yan Kiu "QQ" or "姐姐" ......but she complained Cassidy had pushed and kicked her many times. Then, I asked her whether she told the teacher Miss Chan or not. She said Miss Chan had told her don't do that next time.
When I asked her about taking attendance, she said Miss Chan would ask her Chinese name...... then she would go out, putting her toys back to the original place.
When I sang the Chinese rhyme"月亮光，月亮圓，好像燈籠掛在天空上", she was so excited and she sang the above song many times w body motion.

When I asked her whether she could blow the bubbles or not, she said no......the kids could not blow the bubbles, only the teachers could do that...... then I asked her what she was doing at that time, she said she would chase the bubbles.

and she read the book to me... i think she imitates ms chan... taught me the story and another page and says this is "課室"

Is it true that they need to stick the sticker on page 9? Calix asked me to read the book to him again after lunch. When we're reading page 9, he wanted to tear off the sticker and stuck on the white box but I'd stopped him. I said he should only do that according to Ms. Chan's instruction. I just assumed that they'll do it together at school.
When reading page 7, Calix pointed at the picture of "禮堂" and said Ms. Chan stood in front of the microphone and said "月亮圓，月亮光，好像燈籠在天上".

Then he pointed at the other pictures and said this is "課室"...this is "sir 滑梯"...this is "音樂室". Calix said there're 2 music rooms, Music Room A & Music Room B.

Calix also briefly told me what they do in school according to page 8.

On page 13, pic 1 = "大"; pic 2 = "London Bridge"; pic 3 = "右"; pic 4 = "左".

Calix asked me to pretend Ms. Chan by pinning his name badge on my clothes and read the story book for him.

He also asked me to pretend Ms. Chan to stamp the red flower for him.

Calix also told me that his favourite classmate in class, "Lo Yee Fun" sat on his chair today. He'd told Ms. Chan and "Lo Yee Fun" let him sit back his own chair later. He also said "Lo Yee Fun" likes to laugh which is very funny.

He also mentioned a "姐姐" gave him a brown bell today but I had no clue what he's talking about. Maybe they played the bells during music lesson?

Today when I picked Calix up after school, I'd asked a K3 girl who also takes the school bus if their teachers don't allow them to tell the parents what's happened in school. She said her teacher allows them to do so. I asked if other teachers do not allow them to do that and she said yes. But I doubt whether she understood what I was asking for.

Calix said Ms. Chan gave him a seaweed today but I couldn't find it in his schoolbag. Yet, I'd found some "紫菜碎" on his lip when getting off the school bus. Don't know if he ate it in class or on school bus.

but today cassidy back home and take out the book and she said ms chan ash her 做功課.. and she told me to stick the long one but not the short one... i allow her to stick it..after that.. she opened the first few pages of the book and told me the rabbit story

Thanks Cassidy mom and Vianca mom's sharings yesterday. I saw Ms. Chan had marked a "star" beside the long sticker fixed by Calix yesterday. This confirmed what Cassidy & Vianca said about the "homework" was true.
As I said yesterday, Calix had fixed the smiling face on the last page also but I couldn't find any "star" marked on that page. So, Calix had told me the wrong information.

When I asked if they had done any exercise today, Calix just swung his arms and twisted his body. Not sure if that's true or not.

I asked if he had learnt "手"字 apart from "大"字, he said yes. Later, he suddenly said "守時". I guess he wanted to say "手字".

I asked if he had learnt any alphabet letter? He said "A". I asked if Ms. Chan had told them what is "A" stands for. He said "apple" and "aeroplane". Actually yesterday he used his fingers to show me how to make a "little a".

Also, although Calix likes Ms. Chan very much, he's a bit afraid of her on the other hand. Whenever he's naughty, I'll say, "let me ask if that's taught by Ms. Chan" or "let me tell Ms. Chan that Calix is very naughty", he'll be very nervous and said no. So funny!

Vianca got a star also next to the sticker today.

Vianca told me that Miss Chan teached them to cross their arms to perform answer "NO", stand straight with both hands down to perform answer "YES". Not sure if she's correct.

And she told me that one of the classmate was naughty tdy. Miss Chan asked the boy "坐返低, 唔好攪嘢!"

Thanks for the info.  This explains why my daughter started to read the book immediately after she got off the school bus two days before, and immediately asked to tear off the stickers and to finish putting them on the relevant pages.  However she told me the book is taught and she said the book is not required to be brought back school.  Probably she did not understand the meaning of "homework".  This is indeed the first homework.

Today she told me to put the book back to school bag.  She must have been asked by Ms Chan/Lam to bring the homework.

My daughter also kept pronouncing the work "domino".  I believe KV has started teaching numbers as well.

When Vianca come back fm school yesterday, she called me to my office & asked whether she can turn on TV to watch "Tom & Jerry". I asked her what happened in school but she just gave a few simple answer. Then, she said to me on the phone, "唔講啦! 你返工麻, 你返黎先啦!" Obviously she wanted to hang up.

Maybe I'm a full-time mom and have more time to probe Calix to tell me more about his school life. Yet, his expression ability is limited and therefore I always act as a detective to put many clues together before I report here.

Forgot to tell that Calix recited the Chinese rhyme "兒童樂園" on the 2nd last page of the story book yesterday.
KV really impressed me a lot in motivating the kids to learn and all of them look very happy too!

I'd asked Calix if they had played "domino" today. He said yes and Ms. Lam played with them (that should be true as Ms. Lam teaches Maths). I asked him how many dots are there on the domino and he said "1". I guessed they'd learnt counting 1 today.
Calix knew a girl from K1G on the school bus. Today he showed me the girl after getting off from the bus. The girl stood up and waved goodbye to Calix. Ms. Kung stopped that girl from doing that immediately. This makes me feel that KV really has a good discipline on school bus.

The school bus driver remembers Calix's Chinese name already as I heard her saying his name yesterday. I think Calix should be very happy on the school bus now since he knows some friends on the bus.

When we were home at 6, Vianca took a bottle of milk & slept up to this morning. Terrible!!!

This morning on Vianca bed, I tried to wake her up by saying "Miss Chan is calling your name, you've to say PRESENT la!" Then she opened her eyes, and ask "Miss Lam 呢?" Luckily it worked.
Surely Vianca enjoys her school life!

Yeah, I also find that it's very effective to use Ms. Chan's name to ask Calix to be more behaved, e.g. this morning he refused to hold the cup to drink milk by himself, then I said, "Ms. Chan asks you to hold the cup by yourself." Then Calix immediately held the cup and drank the milk by himself. By seeing this, I tried to praise him by saying, "that's good! I'll tell Ms. Chan that you're very 叻叻 when I see her next time." Then Calix said, "not next time, say it now" which made me burst into laughter!

Calix took out the new story book immediately after getting off from the school bus. He asked me to let him fix the stickers on p.3. I asked if that's requested by Ms. Chan and he said yes.
Actually I guess they might have started this book last week already as I mentioned "快樂的一天" to Calix last weekend (I read the book title from the Longman folder) , he looked very surprised and said "hello Ms. Chan! Hello Ms. Lam!". When I read this book today, I think Calix was referring to p.4.

Also, there's a red dot below the number "1" on p.3. That's what Vianca and Calix talked about the domino last week.

2 more things:
(1) to HappyJolly: Is your daughter's chinese name 莊富純 as Calix spelt the name "Chong Fu Soen (or should be Suen?)" to me last week. Seems that he quite likes her.

(2) When I was on the taxi today with Calix, he said "唔好蝦女仔" suddenly. I asked who told him about this and he said was Ms. Chan. I asked if he had "蝦女仔" in school and he said no. So funny!

!). Her Chinese name is 富淳.  Has Calix been exposed to some "right brain" trainings?

When I asked 富淳 any classmates she remembers, she said names like "Charles", "Ko wing yin", "Toby".  She does not seem to know the name Calix.  Perhaps she might know Calix by Chinese names.  Let me ask her again later.

Today 富淳 told me that only one boy in the class got a sticker from Ms. Chan, for being able to read something correctly.  Is it Calix who got it?

Calix told me that Ms. Chan calls his English name in class.  Anyway, his Chinese name is 嘉熙.  See if your girl knows him then.

Calix didn't get any sticker today.  There should be someone else.

Tonite I tried to play the school iife with Calix by asking him to act what he does in school everyday.  Some highlighted points are:

(1) They'll take the handbook to Ms. Chan and get the flower stamp from her immediately.  This is different from what the mamas from other threads saying that their kids will take out the handbook and pile up on the teacher's desk for stamping.

(2) Before the class starts, they need to stand up and bow to Ms. Chan and Ms. Lam when saying good morning.  Then Ms. Chan will ask them to sit down.

(3) When they go to the toilet, they just walk to the washroom one by one in a queue without putting their hands onto the shoulders of the one in front of them.

(4) When they go to the school bus when returning home, they need to put the hands onto the shoulders of the one in front of them.

(5) "Lo Yee Fun" is sitting next to Calix.

(6) Calix also demonstrated to me how he has snack and water in school.  They need to say "小朋友食茶點" before eating.  I asked if they need to say "老師食茶點" and he said yes then.

You can also try this game to learn more about what our kids have done in school everyday.

Calix is not as smart as you think. Actually he is still like a baby and says baby words sometimes. Also, his self-management ability is poor as he's very dependent on me.

Today I showed the Chinese word cards of the 2nd week to Calix and he could recognize the 3 words. It's very interesting that he imitated Ms. Chan holding the cards and said "mali mali hom" and then took out the card of "耳".

me and cassidy really got a good time in the family trip

tobygirl888, i'm so 羨慕vianca will swim a lot by herself with her swim ring.. since cassidy never do that.. she like to go to the beach and swimming pool.. she likes to play water.. but NEVERswim by herself... she always hold us with her arm and she never try to use swim ring.. ho ma fan

dun think they can go to school in the coming morning .. i guess the typhoon signal will still on no. 3.. she'll miss a school day again

hope she'll not cry when back school.. coz she seems to be still in the holiday mood.. when i told her tomorrow will back school.. she told me she still in holiday haha
