My daughter has 20 pt for Marymount; 25pt for St. Paul's Primary Cathoric School. For the 1st round, which school I should apply?????

Both are good school. But I prefer English and whole day Marymount. but if I choose Marymount but not success, I lost both.

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!!

就機會上黎講, marymount20分未必入到, 好多舊生女女都入唔到, 如果第2round又唔夠好彩, 想叩門都幾難下
如果12網, 大抽獎擺st paul第一, 都十拿九穩
你可以考慮第一round搏marymount, 第2round揀st paul啦, 咁都好穩陣架喇

既然有間入梗又差唔多既學校,比我唔會博,因為一博兩間都可能無晒,囡囡既前途,穩陣d好

我都會第一round搏marymount, 第2round揀st paul第一志願, 你囡囡st. paul有25分, 相信你一定係舊校生, 所以就算touchwood抽唔中都可以叩門st. paul, 機會都好大!

Marymount - less pressure for the parents and the kid.

Why I want to try Marymount is the population of this year is much much smaller than any other years before cuz' of SARS. Will the chance higher?

The same questions make me think too much day and nite.

人數少左....只會影響到邊緣殺校既學校..........從有d幼稚園收表人數可以睇得出......年年都係咁上下人報,並未有因為sars少左人,所以考慮呢個因素既話,可能會諗錯左

NO. Absolutely not.
Agreed with Sindy that SARS will only affect those "dying" schools.

聽聞SPPCS扣門要考幾科筆試, 再要見校長, 媽媽係舊生呢個因素, 似乎唔係咁大作用. 事實上, 學校既測/考/學術要求都高, 揀扣門生自然係要揀讀得既.

Actually, I may not take the 2nd round. Cuz' I have one private school have high chance to be accepted. If I take 2nd round, I have to give up the private school if they accept her.

So, I can only take the first round. Choosing one school. If SPPCS, I think ok. If Marymount, have risk. Although both good school, my preference is Marymount.

The private school is very expensive...... and still need time to observe if my girl suitable to.
