Is CKY 保良局蔡繼有學校? I've heard that the syllabus may be easy and you have no where to go unless you go back to their own secondary school. But the kids are happy.

St. Paul Boys is a traditional school with good discipline. The peer groups are good that all of the boys can have positive interactions. Although someone may think the school is a bit tough, most of the boys I know study happily there.

Every school has its pros & cons. For me, the weakness of St. Paul Boys are its small school campus and relatively lack of NET.

Hope you can have the best decision.

i just got a call from st paul boys' last weekend. It's quite a difficult decision.

I'm interested in CKY very much. I know it's not a traditional school. But what is the difference between CKY and other international schools? Are they similar? Which kindergarten has bigger chance to get into CKY? I hope someone who have children studying in this school can answer my question.

Dear HungMaoMao,

You may say that CKY just stucks in the middle that her teaching methodology and philosophy likes international schools, but pays more weight on Chinese/PTH.

As most students are local Chinese, the school has to pay extra effort in fostering Eng/PTH environment, e.g. about 50% of teachers are NET, more than 50% subjects teach in English, and students are required to speak either Eng/PTH at school etc.

Children possess good proficiency in Eng & PTH, and have good habit in reading will be an advantage.
