Thanks for your advice. For some other considerations and after struggling, have given up Holy family and have already informed the school so as to let others have one more chance.

Why? Did you also consider the web of secondary school ??? It is more chance to get in Band 1 english secondary school in kowloon city web than YTM web!!!(Even not Holy family Secondary School)

Yes, agree with you. If choose TSL, the net is not very good and there are not many good choice of secondary schools for girls. But if secondary school is not a concern, TSL maybe better than Holy Family in English, but the reverse for Chinese subject.

If your girl is a smart one, choose TSL
if your girl is very obedient and gentle, choose HFCS

if she is active and always asking question type, choose TSL, otherwise, she will lost her curiosity if she study at HFCS

if she is a passive and attentive girl, she can get good result at HFCS, may not get the excellent grade at TSL,

u know what I mean
choose the school according to your girl's personality rather than the goodwill of a school...

Thanks for all your replies. I'm much appreciated.

I chose TSL for its EMI and Chinese is taught in Mandarin. I struggled because I totally understand that the secondary school net in YMT is really not that favourable for girls. But I finally decided to park at TSL because my own belief that learning good Mandarin and English is essential for my kid's future development and I think TSL can provide her both at a reasonable tuition fee.

直資、私校、官津都有辦得好同辦得唔好既, 唔係直資就一定比傳統學校優勝, 話時話, 點定義傳統學校? 指教學定資助模式先? 直資都可以係傳統教學, 陳守仁都屬於傳統教學類學校.
聖家講教學方面真係較平平無奇, 學校就如大多數天主教學校一樣, 規矩較多同嚴.
陳守仁的語文環境好d, 但中文又會較弱, 今時今日, 中文都重要喎, 同埋, 以我所知, 陳守仁整體平均成績, 並不是十分出色.

Hello ggboymum,

May I ask your opinion too? My daughter is a talkative
and active girl. She is also a Catholic and got 20 points. We live in net 31, but we are ready to move location if we found a suitable school for her.

Would you mind to P.M. me your suggestion?
