For exact questions, my son could not clearly tell and just said it was fun. Don't expect a K2 student could account what had happened in the interview room.
Parents are waiting in the hall.
After the above interviews, 300 canadidates were selected to have interview with school principal.

Back to my memory in September 2007, I received a notice of interview only 4 days before the interview with the priciple, Ms LAM. Select both english and chinese story book for an hour interview. This is the group interview with Ms LAM. 10 kids in one groups. My interview time was 1615-1715.
Then, 2 days later, an actual assessment was almost 1.5 hours including 1) art drawing on the paper ; 2) maths test ; 3) language testing (English); 4) group activites. The most interesting thing was that one daily family photo for submission.
The above interview was in very short notice. We could not spend so much time for preparation. A bit rush!
If you are lucky, 300 canadidates would be selected to have an individual interview with school principal, Ms LAM.

Hi, I intend to submit application form for my son in August this year. May I ask whether a profile should be attached to the application form? If it is better to attach one, should it be in Chinese of English and how many pages should it have? Parents who succeeded last year please give me some tips. Thanks a lot!!

For the profile, I did it in english with photoshop software for better placement

其實做profolio 係咪中英都無乜所謂? 因為用中文好似可以表達得好d咁~

it depends on your language Proficiency. It shows parents effort and their concern to children.
i don't think language is really importance.

Yes, I agree it depends on language proficiency. But have you included any photos/records on your kid's extra-curricular activities and any 工作紙or certificates in the profile?

yes ar..I did it in the following order:
List of content
(i) Letter to Principal
(ii) school report K1-2
(iii) Achievement
(iv) extra..activities, course taken
(v) Artworks(if any)
(vi) Photographs
The YW school said profile should be few pages as they have stuffed few store room of profiles.

是.正確.
學校會給你編號按次序安排面試. (上年是這樣進行,但今年不知會不會有所修正?)

If you read story books to your children every week, in English or Chinese, your children will have better chance.
Not much you can prepare your young kids in a short period of time before interview. Relax.

Is there a need to write Eng in interview? Moreover, is there an Eng test session? I did not hear that in the briefing.
Can read English is very good alread y.

沒有福份, 但個天安排入了華德下午, 完全合他性格. (在我blog內都記錄了很多點滴和其他教育選校的見解)
