As I know, there are kg such as"Woodland", "Montessori school of hong kong', "casa di..." are practicing montessori theory, which one is better??

My friend's daugher , who is a little bit passive, disliked her 3 years kg experiences in one of it. After 3 yeas kg education, my friend's daughter has problem of speech delay. this hinders me from sending my son to montessori kg. any similar experience???

is there any mom has sent your child to montessori kg and had a very good experience?? pls share. since i like the concept but find it hard to match the HK education scheme.

My daughter is attending the playgroup of Woodland Montessori for 4 months. I am full time mom and attend school with her. So far she is very happy with the classes and she also demonstrates some improvement.

She is now 21mth old and she can speak quite well in cantonese. I think that monte education may not cause speech problem; but on the other hand if a kid has speech problem I guess attending ordinary kindy including monte school cannot help and probably not the best choice.

I also heard from friends that Casa Dei Bambini offers very good classes. Both CDB and Woodland require kids to attend playgroups before promoting to preschool.

speeh delay will not be a pure result of the method of teahing.  ususally speeh delay's plbs are major from
1. too many input eg 3 or more languages at the same time w/o dominant language in kid
2. no output due to muscular delay
3.  psy eg fear of presentation
4.  bb feel no need to speak in satisfying the needs

so step 1 is reveal your home enviornment to see the reason and speeh delay is v usual in HK as many parents are eager to input bb with spainish other non-native speaking languages before the mothertongue has been well established and the interesting thing is at home, no one speak spanish..so bb don't have opportunity to pratise it

so, any first hand experience from monte kg?? can you tell any different bertween other kid and your bb??

Since monte playgroup or kg is quite expensive, so i would likt to learn more before i spend that a bundant of $$ on it.
