I have enrolled PIPS Kowloon - the 1 year old international class for my son this Sept. Can any mom share their experience with me? I just found our there were alot of negative comment from year 2007... any mom has any update of this school? Actually, at the beginning, I was considering Think at Mei Foo too; but I ended up pick PIPS Kowloon... Should I switch my son back to Think at Mei Foo? Any mom can also share their experience of Think at Mei Foo?

my daughter will go to Think in Mei Foo this August. I think this kindergarten is quite good so far. I also heard quite a lot of positive comment about this school.

I also think not many people talked about Think Mei Foo here but once the people posted somethings about this kindergarten, it is good.
I think the teachers there are really nice and friendly. they welcome us a lot and would not mind to show everything to us once we visited that.
The environment is also quite good in my mind. there is a small outdoor area for the children.

oh... you have a visit to their school? I have never been there... are you taking AM/PM class for your baby there?

Yes, I just went there again today for the parents' day. My daughter will go to UN this August.

You can go to Think every Satuday morning. All people are welcome to visit according to what I have heard.

I know two mums who took their kids to PIPS, one already left and another will change to another kinder for K1. Both said the campus is new & nice but the teachers kept on changing and the admin is:;pppp:

Perhaps Think is more secure...

There is a new Victoria opening nearby in Olympic station which may probably have playgroups.

The teachers in Think MEi Foo are quite stable so far. MOst of them have worked there for over 5 years.

Today I went to Think again. The teachers are nice. The class teacher also tried to spend quite a lot of time with my daughter to communicate with her.

For N1 (they call LN), the English lesson is not too long everyday. They care about the communication and expression in Cantonese first.

Is your daughter studying in UN class at Think Mei Foo? My daughter and her cousin will study there also in September, I wonder if we will be classmates?

Yes, my daughter studies in UN!! So I guess our kids will be classmates since Sept. She started school on Friday already. Hope she can get used to the school life soon.

I'm sure your daughter will adapt to school well (when my daughter studies in LN, she cried for nearly 2 weeks

, it was heart-breaking for both me and my husband) don't know what she's be like after the summer holidays.

From my understanding of other parents in my daughter class, the UN chinese teacher Ms leung has been teaching UN class for a few years, she seems a very nice and caring teacher.

will u be attending the parent's meeting on 23rd Aug (sat)?

Till now, my daughter is fine. We are surprised that she hasn't cried at all even we have to leave her alone today. I really hope she can keep on like that. I know it would be really heart broken to see her crying.
Maybe she will cry when the class size becoming big since Sept.

Yes, Miss leung is a nice teacher. There is another teacher who helps at this moment.
The English teacher should be Miss Joanne. She will come only in Sept.

I will not go to the parents' meeting on 23/8 as I have to teach piano every Saturday. My students are just back from USA so I don't want to miss their first lesson.
However, my husband would go on that day.

Hope our kids would have no problem in the school! :)

My daughter is very bored at home, I should have apply for their summer school. I was late applying so there was no vacancies left when I asked. She probably cried for the first few days, but I'm sure she will settle back into school life when she see other children in the class.

I can see many students are going to the summer school. They are with the NET most of the time. Their behaviour is really good in my mind. Impressed. :)
However, I think it is good for your daughter to have a real summer holiday at home. I would do the same thing if I were you.
