聖羅撒09年1月搬去坪石，間學校真係又細又舊，校舍問題......
$不是問題，德望環境大D，舒服D.......不知点選擇??我聽聞聖羅撒會分精英班，小朋友咪好大壓力？
可否給意見？

i want give u to know about Good Hope school 's presure is high too.i help u to ask my friend that we are to choose st. rose too. because my friend's daughter is from Good Hope change to st. rose.

St rose does not have 精英班, but pressure is high same like any other schools.

Good Hope pressure is great than St. Rosa,
even the teacher who is teaching in Good
Hope also great than St. Rosa. Before
made your decision, you must think about
it.

high pressure nowadays for even the schools in public housting area. But of course more educated parents set a higher level standard for the kids & hence the associated pressure level.

St Rose secondary only accept band 1 students except those from its primary section may be some are in band 2.
st rose is at band 1.

呢d排名榜我都唔知用乜準則排出來的, 年年大把人有異議, 單係佢自己個list 就發現有錯啦 ! Marymount 都要排80, 體藝排60??
112 聖羅撒學校
224 聖羅撒書院

St rose 係英中, 預科入U率100%. F1街外生只收band 1.
我就認為佢係band 1

If you are me , which school you choice , GH or SRL ?

I think GHS will have a higher acadamic level than st. rose.
If u don't mind to pay for 12 years school fee, I will take GHS.

In my mind, I grade st rose = holy family. no charges & definitely not a bad choice, low profile, less competition compare to those on the top.

, your opinion is so neutral , many thanks , I'm still thinking , it's hard to make decision this moment . If SRL won't move to Ping Sik at 1/2009 for 2 years , because the school in Ping Sik really very old and small , this is the point I consider .......

Hi yauyau,  you mentioned $ is not a problem,  then y still have to consider ?

St rose move to Ping Sik should not bother you. Reconstruction is unavoidable as the school campus is too small. The Principal was from LS & she is  aggressive to make improvements. She fights for the reconstruction project, the temp location seems not too bad,  but the building, it's kind of old I heard.

DGS is also under reconstuction & temporary move to Junk bay & Shamshuipo.  That is even worse because too far, most of the moms don't know the way there. Many moms drive, not by school bus.

高考今放榜11人考獲5A (星島) 06月 30日星期一 10:34AM

That prove that is band 1 school !

my daughter is in P1 st rose. She was accepted by GH but we chose st rose because
1. It is free
2. the school is in my vicinity.

吃得苦中苦方為人上人, 只要間學校軟件(校長/老師/同學/課程)冇變, 暫搬都係比小朋友一種經歷及希望, 之後就有一個又大又靚既校舍. 我唔識比較兩校, 只係用別人舊校舍不是重點考慮因素. 只是我既睇法, 大家可以唔認同.

同意, 校長係小一新生家長會上都話, 你哋選擇st rose 就知道小朋友一定要比心機, 仲remind 我哋要係呢個summer 為小朋友做好開學的準備. 所以間學校好唔好, 唔係only 睇外觀, 仲要睇吓個校長的approach 和老師的配合.

This principal is very aggressive. Only 6 schools were allowed to rebuild the campus last year, dgs, st rose are the 2 of them. For the campus, I will say I like the current campus as the kids don't need to carry heavy school bags to walk up 4, 5, 6 storeys.

There were several 6A/7A (max allow to attend 8 subjects) at HKCEE last year from St. Rose, but of course compare to those 10A, newspaper never bother to report these.

知己知彼麻!

今年HKALE係有1個半狀元, 恆商的一位狀元也是st rose F5畢业後轉讀恆商的. 2 人皆是文商科的. 從小學一直上的 !

finally I make the decision , I choice GH and give up SRL , A little pity to give up SRL , may be my two daughters also study in SRL kindergarten , the feeling is hard to say , like ....like will miss this school........ hope my daughter will study happy and enjoy the day in GH.......I can only say all parents want to choice the best for their kids .....
