以我所知, 學校冇校車路線表/圖可參考. 妳可以在返學校訂書/校服和鞋當天, 問校車公司的職員.

係呀，如果參加課外活動係冇校車的。所以我都冇給個囡係學校參加活動。一個星期預計要視乎你參加几多項活動，但唔知今年會否改變呢。

我都覺得係呀, 服務差同貴之外,

I heard quite a number of parents complaining about the school bus services.  I am not speaking for the bus company but just want to share my views -

The school bus service only serves SMC students and SMC students spread through all over Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, Shatin, Tai Po, East Kowloon... in districts which are a bit far from the school.  It is not an easy task for the bus company to plan for a route that would make everyone happy in view of the extensive coverage to be served.

The bus company would not be able to change its bus fleet (to use more small buses running more routes) to accommodate the current year need from capital expenditure perspective.  Besides, 24 seaters Coaster is more comfortable and relatively safer than HIACE van.

I agree that the fare is relatively higher.

Hence, transportation and distance are also important factors in the selection of school for the kids.

my child lives in yuen long, but there isn't any routes that reach yuen long, i have to take my child to school on my own als0.

Yau tong is too far away, we live on HK island and both me and my husband work. We have thought about taking our kids to and back from school ourselves, but we are not sure if it's possible to do this for many years. So, we will have to think twice now.
