Despite the bad weather and previous unexpected changes, all the boys have started their journey yesterday la, very excited ah........

I just realized that the school has arranged 3 updates each day on their itinerary. Thanks to Mrs. Chan and all staff in arranging such a meaninful journey for our kids. This is much more than mere classroom study can provide. Hope the kids will treasure what they have owned and understand how lucky they are after the trip.

I always tell my kid how fortunate he is by telling a lot of real life storeis and showing pics about poor and rural countries. So glad to see that the school has offered such a meaningful trip for the kids. Hope my kid will have a chance to join in the future.

All the photos have been uploaded to the school's website. Really thanks to Mrs Chan & all staff for the big efforts in arranging the trip. A good experience for our kids.

Debriefing of Paul's Action was taken place last Friday.  Boys were expressive about their feelings and all parents were very happy with the trip.

However, I would say those boys who hadn't joined the trip and stayed behind at school also learned a lot with the special programme.

They had their first ever "income" by "洗厠所", floor only.  The hard earned income was used to buy lunch.  A group of 12 only had $120 to spare and only two dishes of veg and a can of corned beef to share among them.  Finally, soy sauce saved the day.

The Principal's final conclusion was good.  Apart form praising the students, she admitted that she was worried as well before the trip and thanks for YWCA and parents' support.  She specially reiterated to all students the importance of accepting diversity among peers and be thankful to what we have.

Oh! I like that "洗厠所" training

. I wish my boy could also try that kind of lunch so that he would not be 無衣食.
