Anyone on 德望waiting list had received calls from school ?

I also want to know about this, because my niece is on waiting list too. My sis-in-law really likes this school.

不要太擔心, 學校會陸續 call 人, 我去年也是八月才收到 call.

Good Hope has sent letter to us this week requesting us to return the original Primary One Registration Form from EMB to their school on or before 15 June 08. I will return by tomorrow.

I think after they collecting all such Form, they can finalise the students' list and begin to call those on waiting list.

Yes, i called GHS today, they said will call the waiting student in August.
May I know the chance is high or not ??

Depends on what do you mean by "high", learnt from other topics that many parents did give up places in GHS after government's lucky draw.

so, why GHS contact the waiting student so late (in August), because all the students register on 10 & 11 June wor ?? They should know the result within this week la.

Dear all,

My daughter is in same case on waiting list last year and finally rec'd a call at end Jul since they need to take time for calling everyone waiting list to interview and I think it'll only arrange few persons to do interview each day, therefore it needs to do end July.

If you've chance to do interview, you'll be had a big chance to register as it's same case happened in both my daughter and my friend's daughter; don't worry!

Learnt from topic last year that GHS has 2nd interview in July:-

It said,

"You can take it easy for 2nd interview.

1. You daughter will be asked to draw a picture about her Sunday activities.

2. You and your daughter will be asked to see the
headmistress. Some other applicants may wait outsides
as well.

3. It will take 5-10 minutes for the kid and then 15 to 25 minutes for kids and parents together.

4. As far as I know, kid will only ask simple questions.
The headmistress will chat with the parents about GH and
how to raise kids etc."
