有人說維記學生上傳統學校難適應,請問你們有無同感? 有人說很多小朋友適應後便名列前茅,是否真的?

我識兩個小朋友係維記上名小學,
一個全級第一, 一個媽咪狂操都要包尾,
so我認為係好睇小朋友個人,
當然主要都係家長要跟得貼,
開首既term要預左教到嘔血
讀開傳統幼稚園就快d適應囉,
我囝囝唔係維記, 但我都無後悔擺佢係國際幼稚園,
佢有一個好開心愉快既幼稚園生活 (especially見佢上到小學咁慘), 當初既決定係明智

我想再講小朋友係幼稚園期間,
如果搵到一間較著重language既幼稚園
係日後係受用無窮,
而可以培養到小朋友閱讀習慣,
你又洗嘜擔心讀唔上,
英華校長都話小朋友5歲前培養到閱讀習慣係最重要

It depends which primary school you will choose for him/her; most of the time; Chinese will be disadvantaged however, their English should be top range.

If you can prepare him/her additional Chinese for traditional primary; it will not be a problem.

Above is my personal opinion.

The English standard of Victoria is comparatively high, especially for oral communication. Most of the students know well about "Jolly Phonics".

Again, it all depends on which school you join and the character of your kid. My son enters a traditional school. He is not familiar at the beginning. After the first 3 months, he picks up everythings soon and ranks one of the top in class of the mid. term exam. However, some of his classmates (also from Victoria) rank in the middle.

No big problem.
English subject becomes the best subject, but Chinese subject is still OK. Above average.
