I received the reply letter last night. The interview will be held on 5 Oct 08 (Sun) with Open Day.

請問有沒有人知道今天的面試是否只得上午9點一個時段? 不知下午有無第2輪或之後的日子有第2輪呢? 因為今早好似唔係好多人咁?

I also joined the interview on Sunday.  It have around 160 girls (8 teams x approx. 20 girls/team).

I asked my daughter about the interview, she says that they were just requested to choose their favour in drawing or reading.  Later, teachers gave them a balloon and candy only.

My daughter says that the teachers haven't ask them any questions.  I think that may be the school just wants to seem the character of the kids only.

Did your daughter join the interview on Sunday? Which group of she joined?

call the school today and has been told that the earliest we will get the result on last next week. good luck for everyone!

Hi Winleg,

Yes, she was in D group but she didn't tell me the detail of interview, just told me she played games happily with teacher & children. So I have no idea how big chance we have, need to wait....

My hubby counted from the board on Sunday and noted there has 144 girls applied, so I'm just thinking there shouldn't be only 1 day for 09 P1 interview, it seems not too much people. As per information from Gov. school should accept 104 girls (4 classes totally) for P1.

唔知會唔會少班, 每班25人 x 4班 = 100人
幼稚園有14x人, d人話幼稚園學生不用面試,
機會細了......

不過幼稚園學生可能唔讀, 因為要俾$$$

幼稚園學費每月$1100-1200, 好抵!

小一只收109人, 但幼稚園已有14x人, 單是學位都唔夠俾直升嗰D, 奇怪仲點分到俾外來人呢??????

若幼稚園有超過109人報返小學
外來看係唔會有機會
就算有，我估都係幾個
我之前上網睇過
有年外來生先得9個人

i am catholic and prefer gal school. it means, i don't have too much choice... in fact, i get a pretty good feeling for the school. 99% go to english high school, why not?

just don't know rather the school will pick my gal.

I received the letter from school and my girl can get a sit in this school. I am really happy and the school ask me to pay one month school on 24 or 25 Oct,08.

I feel that all the girls there are very happy and healthy. Good conduct.

But I also want to join the 2nd terms of Goverment school because I have two girls. Besides, we live in Tseung Kwan O. Good luck all of you.

Hi WINLEG,

I will pay for the seat because I feel OLPS is suitable for my girl and all of my family remebers like this school very much, we have very good impression of sister, teachers & current students on the interview / open day, all of them are very polite & nice.

Although need to pay one month fee to hold for the seat, we think it is worth. I strongly believe that OLPS can teach good behavior students, this is the most important point I appreciate.

I'm not prefer gov school coz quality of parents & students are not even although the base of school is good, besides, nowaday, there has many families from PRC and also the environment & location of school most are inside or near Estate.

So you should think about how much you like OLPS and what kind of school you're looking for or suitable for your kid. If you finally decide to get in OLPS, there has no doubt to pay for $2,150 to hold. Otherwise, you should think about it. Do you have any backup of other private / DSS?

"好"的定義是見仁見智. 選擇一間適合自己女兒讀的便是好. 我囡囡是聖母幼稚園升上來. 在幼稚園裏有些父母, 教導女兒可以在高班時巳懂得背很多英詩, 數學可以學識三位運算, 所以聖母小學對她們來說太淺. 另外, 有些"街坊街里"雖然很喜歡聖母, 但是始終要交學費, 若論程度, 聖母只是英文較一些津貼深少許, 所以她們最終選擇不用交學費的學校.
培正人材輩出,暫時少聽聖母有什麼名人. 怎麼能比較?但傳聞培正小一巳經中文要作50字,(可能他們幼稚園個底打得好好), 聖母幼稚園讓我感覺好像玩了幾年, 因此小學是慢慢一步一步上.
聖母始終是要交學費, "品流複雜"極有限. 而且修女, 老帥們都很有愛心, 關心學生.
聖母給人感覺是逢人都收嗎? 給我的感覺是寛進嚴出.

多謝yk0108這樣詳細的回覆，其實聖母小學給我的印象都很好，反而是我囡囡說不喜歡此學校，只說畫室不是很合她心意，其實我覺得都OK啦，一般畫室都是如此。她只說喜歡德望，因我不是陪她入去面試，所以我不知道有幾好。

再者，太多人說讀德望會功課方面很煩重，有時又很令人卻步，當然我明白「世上沒有免費午餐」，要付出才有回報。

Anyway，可能都是留住位先，當支持她們教學之用。
