請問英文堂是否由外籍老師任教, 中文是否用囩國語上堂, SPK 是一間什麼型式學校

Today's parent's meeting, the Principal said that, SPK has NO forieign teacher and also NO mandarin to learn, they will have half hour english lesson everyday, and will teach Cantonese & English for their main language, Mandarin WILL NOT be included in the 3 yrs kindergarten.

Thx. SPK 沒有外籍老師而且上英文堂只得HALF hour.
足夠應付上(st. paul p.1) 全英文/國語小學嗎?

Hihi,

According to the Sister Lucia(The principal of kinder.) in the primary school, they will have a proper class for teaching Mandarin.

And for the English class in kinder. they think half hours is enough as the kids will talked in English ONLY everyday in that half hour, NO cantonese is allow in the english class, so it would enourage the kids to speak more English.

From my personal experience, SPK is a VERY local school. 2 teachers per classroom and each teacher to look after 15 kids. She bascially teachs ALL subjects so it really depends on her English level ! Unfortunaly my daughter's class teacher speaks poor English

Definitely need to send your kid to take extra English/Mandarin course in K2/K3 to get ready for Primary 1.
