My daughter is almost 5 months old, it’s time to get her to startreading books at home.
After reviewing BK’smama on their comments on buying educational materials, I set myself some criteriaand requirement on choosing the right materials for my daughter – 1, Worth tobuy, Less time to play on TV, Good Quality.
Also, I want to buy those 1) story book’s content similar to Story BoomBoom (Teaching the Children to go toilet, go bathing, go sleeping),2, Learning materialsthat teach the children, what is a bedroom looks like, what kind of things are supposeto be in the bedroom, Kitchen, Park, School, etc.
which is similar to Hurray English, 3, Noddy Story Book, as my daughterloves to listen to the Noddy Sing Along Music.

So, I just went to 深圳書城
yesterdaywith my husband, and bought everything I wanted for my daughter at only $2xx.

My comments:
Very Cheap, Every single item only cost from RMB5 to RMB 9.9, Nice Printing,Colorful.

1, They have Noddy Story Books only cost RMB 8.8 withVCD, The Story book has both Simp Chi and English Characters printed,the VCD playback in English with Simp Chinese Characters display.  it isworth to buy for those who are thinking to buy the whole set of Noddy, atleast, you can try on your child to see whether they like it or not.

2) I bought 8 small and thin story books, draw and writtenby Japanese.  The content are quite similar to Story Boom Boom.
Nice painting, in only few Simp Chinese word oneach page.  (i will convert them in Trad Chi) Cost me RMB 5 each.  3)I bought 3 more story books in English with similar style.
Up to now, i have English and Chinese Storybooks for my daughter.

3) Except for Story Book, i bought her 4 big Learning bookswith has lots of pictures w/ Chi and English.  Eg.  Difference kindof Vegetable on one page, Fruit, Body Part, Animal.  A Picture showingLiving Room, what kind of thing in the living room, list with Picture and Eng /Chi Characters.

I bought total 30 books at RMB2xx, can satisfy my daughterto learn stories, things for living in English and Chinese.

Its hard to tell which book is good, you have to go and see,as they have so many kinds.

I would recommend all Mama to go there take a look first, and take it as a small investment to your child to see if the materials suitable for them or not.

The Address of SZ Book City - Take train to Lok Ma Chau MTR Station, transfer to SZ MTR 皇崗 Station and travel to 少年官 Station, only 5 or 6 Station. Then you can check out the signage for Book City Exit. Very Close to station, only 3 mins walk.

This Book City is quite new, neat, and clean, they provide free Locker Storage. They have restaurants around, Pizzahut, 味千拉面, Starbuck etc.

There are many books good for kids age 1 - 4, e.g. sticker book, matching, coloring.... The price is low and the quality is okay. Recently, I bought a puzzle of China map, my son like it.
