其實現在的父母越來越重視英文.但sh每星期只有3日有英文堂,每堂25分鐘.你們認為足夠嗎? 好像很多其他傳統幼稚園都是每天有英文堂的.

係咪k1-k3都係3 堂?如果係，k3就好似少d!!

If you worry about the English level of your child, I guess you can consider more options now eg extra english lesson / watch more eng vcd / listen to eng rhymes & songs

But honestly, I have the same doubts here as you last year.

I’m happy with the school so far and my daughter’s progress.
And there are some children in SH who is really brilliant and is Champion in English solo verse speaking competition.
Of course, that’s require extra efforts by the parents, so it’s just your give and take.

There will be Orientation for NC parents before school starts, and you have the chance to speak with the Principal and teachers.

聖保祿每天有半小時英文, 英文課比聖心多. 但沒有外籍老師, 這點聖心優勝, 因有外藉老師教發音, 本地英文老師講故事.

我相信學校的宗旨并不會要那麼小的小朋友去補習.而且那些負擔不起的家庭呢?既然大家都認為有需要增加英文的訓練,為什麼不請求學校增加英文課呢?

spk家長自組英文班的呀......一齊係某中心上堂

I heard a lot of people said SH english standard is quite good, even not worse than SPK. I am not sure whether they are talking about SH primary or secondary. Any parent from SHCK can share the standard of English level in K1-K3? so that we can act fast to source some other english courses for child. Frankly speaking, English become more and more important, if we don't pick up earlier, it will become hard to child once they grow up.

I know SC is a very good primary & secondary school, with excellent English standard.

But is it difficult for SC kindergarden children (chinese kindergarden) to pick up English in P1 if we don't 自已出去讀英文班?

我個人不擔心若她們continue study in SH 中小学, 其實她們只是好年幼,塞太多嘢俾佢地只會嚇怕她們,對讀書產生恐懼.
我希望她在頭一倆年內学懂守秩序和照顧自己,信任老師,和同学一起開心生活和学習繼而對学校產生歸屬感,讀書興趣自然能培養.
最緊要学習彼此相愛.
我對学校也有信心希望其他家長也不用太擔心吧.
