Hi bitzhee,

I'm glad to see this topic.  Sometimes really got a bit fed up in BK seeing so many people not recognizing Victoria's merits.  In fact Victoria has been quite a popular bilingual kinder in the HK side receiving pretty good commendations from parents in recent decades.

My kid is studying in Eng/Put K1 class in CWB campus.  I'm lucky to have 3 caring class-mistresses, whom my son loves very much.  The teachers frequently called me, following up on my kid's progress at school, particularly during the 1st term when he's new to the class.  My kid, on the other hand, also enjoys his school life very much.  I'm also quite satisfied about the school's arrangement of letting pretty much parents' participation in class.  I can see my son's good progress, particularly in language development, in this year.

Just like other moms of Victoria kids, I share the concern about kids' discipline.  But the school's approach is to encourage kids to speak up, explore and develop their motivation to learn.  This is what I expect from the school from the day I chose it, just because I think it's good for my kid.

I absolutely agreed with you,

My son started with Victoria by playgroup when he was around 1 yr old, and now he is 5 years old still in Victoria cos they have fulfilled my expectations.  In between, there were some famous international schools accepted him but after we discussed with my son, finally we decided to stay in Victoria.

I am really glad and proud of my son, he've learnt good discipline, decent manner, self-confidence, generous personlity and willingness to learn and explore.  I believe, the above are very important keys for his future!

The rest adventages are really exactly as what you said! (I dont have to repeat again)

By the way, your son is so lucky, we have waited 2 yrs for put/eng class and now my son is in CWB can/eng am class.

Really nice to share with you and hope will see you one day in CWB Campus!:D

Hey Mommies,
Nice to see this topic. It gives me some confidence on Victoria especially since there are some negative comments about Victoria recently.

My daughter is 11 months old, I'm just start to research school for her. My first choice is Victoria (康怡 Branch) since it's close to where we live. I don't want to travel too far for N1, it's still too young for her. But I'm not sure if 康怡 school is as good as other branches.
I also have signed her on the waitlist of playgroup, don't know how long the wait will be.
