Anyone have the experience of changing from one Kumon centre to another? What are the procedures? How long advance do I need to inform the teacher and do I need to write a letter or just verbally tell them? Anyone can help? Thank you.

I was Kumon tutor some years ago. Hope I can help.

As I know, you can just tell your tutor that you need to change centre, she will give you a form and help you to find a nearby centre of your new targeted location.
Then after the application finished, you have to go to the new centre and the child is asked to take an assessment of Level (as each centre may have a little different requirement of tutor) Ofcox, you need to ask for lesson time of the new centre.
Then, your tutor of the original one, will give you the folder (with all past records of level and assessment), you just take the folder to the new centre.

That's all I can remember, hope it helps.
