As mentioned in the circular today, we are ticking the " election candidates or candidate for election ?
Are these 2 different roles or my misunderstanding ?

If you want to be elected as a PTA committee member, then choose 'would', or otherwise 'would not'. By the way, I think you are suitable as you are willing to voice. Go for it, I'll vote for you.
