1. )I am a lady in red,
Sometimes short,sometimes tall
When i am short, you just need a thin T-shirt.
When I grow tall, You have to wear a thick coat,
And hurriedly close your windows.

What am I ? _________

2.) Branches grow on my head,
Spotted clothes I wear.
I like to eat grass,
But I am neither a donkey nor a horse,
And I can run fast like the wind.

What am I ?__________

3.) I can run but never walk,
Have a mouth but never talk,
Have a bed but never sleep,
Have a head but never weep?

What am I ?______________

4.) There lives have I.
Gentle enough to soothe the skin,
Light enough to caress the sky
Hard enough to crack rocks.

What am I ? __________________

She said that she would have to wear a thick coat when the measure of the thermometer is short, not when it is tall. Please advise.

There lives have I.

A gentle breeze is lovely to our skin, especially when we think about the hot summer. And it is so light (the opposite to heavy) to fly up the sky and to caress the sky -- only wind can do it. However, it is strong sometimes as wind does crack rocks, like what we have learnt in Geography -- erosion and the rocks will crack. Hope it is clear -- it took me quite a while to think of this one, but the last one was a key for me.

Oh, they are very good riddles. I enjoyed reading them very much and will share them with my daughter today.
