Anyone know if there is school bus pickup for Victoria (HMT) Nursery? If so, do you know the cost?

You can get an information sheet from the reception. I think the cost ranges from $530 to around $1,000, depending on the pickup points.

Also, if your child is only going to attend 2/3 days class, a discount will be made accordingly to the school bus fee.

I learnt from my friend that the safety facility in Victoria's SBis one of the best in HK as each seat is equipped with a Safety Belt and they will also try their best to offer room-to-room service.

The SB also allows an adult to accompany the Child. As I live in T.Y and my baby girl will just turn to 20 months by the time the school starts in Aug, I will certainly ask my maid to accompany her to the School everyday.

May I ask how about to your maid after your
girl arrived school? Does they drive your maid back to
home first? If not, what's your maid do when your girl
is attending class?

Of course the SB will not drive the maid back first!! If you ask your maid to go with the kid, then she should wait in the main entrance of school (do a lot of chatting over the mobile with her friends!!

) until the kid finishes the class and go home together.

Check the route with the SB directly since they may not provide point to point service for every student.

I was miserable but then, I feel better since I bring my boy to school everyday and I treasure this moment very much!

Although the SB could provide room to room service, the pick up time is so early that I don't think I will let my baby girl take the SB. For a at most 20 mintues of driving from where I live to HMT, the driver said I should prepare the pick up time would be early for Tsing Yi will usually be there first pick up point. You know what, the pick up time is 07:30 hrs!!

(No kidding, right??)  After discussed with my husband, we will drive her to school ourselves.  This way, both my baby and us could have 1 more hour of sleep.  For the way back, we are still thinking.  Although the SB could offer one way trip on condition that we would pay full fare for both our maid and the baby, we are still thinking would if be better to put her on taxi as taxi would be more cost effective for it requires 1 hr or so to get home by SB, whereas for taxi, I think it would be just around 15 mintues.

However, SB do have its advantage.  Since I am just thinking to let my maid to accompany my baby girl to School until she reaches the age of 2.  If she could ride on the SB at the beginning of the term, I will have greater flexibility to let her rider on her own by that time.

Still got a lot to think about, being a parents is indeed not easy.  May be I can get some more idea in this Forum or during the orientation in April.
