小囡依家學緊小提琴和大提琴, 但老師話因為手勢問題, 需要2選1, 如你會點選擇??

小朋友2樣都好想學, 所以唔知點選好??

I prefer cello as there are too many violinists everywhere.
However, the pieces of violin seem nicer and more famous comparing to the ones of cello in certain degree.

我細個時都學小提琴，但我prefer學大提琴，因為太多人學小提琴，大提琴反而會少，比較特別！

Hi Helenma,

May I ask at what age your girl started to learn these 2 instruments? I quite like the sound of cello and wish my son can learn. He's 3.5 yrs old now and has started to learn piano for a couple of months. How can you raise your girl's interest in both instruments? Thanks!

It is all depend do they have interest or not. My elder son is learning Cello and my younger sone and myself are learning Violin. Pls note both of them (Cello and Violin) are not easy to learn as they are belong to string family.

Class for Cello is much more expensive the violin. Not too many Cello teacher available in the market. Also the instrument of Cello is much expensive than violin.

My son were started their their class since P1. I beleive the 6 years old is the best time to learn. If your son can start earlier, lust let him learn.
